I know I don't post often but I still read from time to time and I see many of you on facebook.

We just got back from a b2b on the dream and am happy to report back that I did see Daniel on both the February 27th cruise and the March 3 cruise and addressed him as Handsome Daniel as asked :) - I just cannot remember who asked me as it was on facebook so I thought I would report back here!

We are headed out in May for the EBTA as I got spoiled on the WBPC for long cruises with great DIS friends!

Krisann

Good Job! :thumbsup2 (that was me)

And thanks for posting all those stateroom photos on the DIS and facebook.

I picked up a lottery ticket, just in case I can retire immediately and add the EBTA AND the WBTA to my multiple cruises this year! :lmao:

Monica asked me to let everyone know that she is unable to FB from work anymore... :sad2::sad2:

she will catch up from home when she can... :thumbsup2

Personally I don't actually think people should be on the internet in works time. Sorry if I am sounding mean there. I know at our business they can go on at break times but not work time, the websites haven't been blocked for that reason. There is one member of staff though who posts on FB at other times. I can't believe she can't realise that we can see what she posts!!!:rotfl2:

When I work for Metro in Jersey, I'm basically just playing receptionist.. with gaps between calls and not much else do I get to play on the internet.... One day there was a news story about a woman getting fired for playing solitaire at work... One of the guys came in and looked at my desk and asked "Do we pay you to play solitaire??" "Why... yes you do..."... :lmao::lmao::lmao: (I also searched for houses online when I was there for a bit too.. found one...:thumbsup2)

Now my job is almost ALL internet.. so... :confused3

You know Tylers gonna bug him like crazy if they don't go to Disney...;)

No he won't. He knows Dad can't afford to take him to Disney, never does, they're just going to visit Tyler's Grandpa in Boca.

I looked up Charles and Sheilah so I could see their pictures. Tyler looks just like his dad, very good looking and Tyler's little sister looks just like her dad, very good looking. What is her name again? I wasn't snooping, I just wanted to see the pictures. You know how we love pictures.

Nice!!!

No, that's not snooping, I figured some people would be curious. I sure would be! :thumbsup2 Sister's name is Victoria. She'll be 2 in June, I can't believe it! She's very cute and Tyler's a great brother. He just loves her to death! :goodvibes He does look exactly like his dad. Especially certain facial expressions, which drives me nuts, LOL! ;)

Sorry I haven't been here.....I've been dealing with inflamation/autoimmune illnesses lately. It hasn't been pretty. I haven't been on FB much either. I've been sleeping it off, had to take vicodin one day.

I'm just starting to get a little better. And I have missed you all terribly.

I've been busy, that's why I got a flare up.

Saturday, we took Tom to pick up his truck and make it legal. Then we rode to NYC and visited with my cousins. I had a great time. But we were there from noon until midnight. By the time we got back home it was the middle of the night. I crashed.

Sunday I started getting sick. My ankles and feet blew up and got beat red. It was extremely painful. I had trouble walking. I slept it off Sunday and Monday.

Tuesday I had to take Ray to his doctor for a regular check up. I had the kid stay home from work and drive. I went with them to go into the doctor with Ray, but I let the kid help Ray and do all the work.

Today the only thing I'm doing is making a meat loaf dinner with roasted potatoes and onions. The rest of the day, I'm chillin'. I hate when my illnesses flare up. I also have cellulitis still. It's going away, but it's not gone completely yet. I've been a mess lately.

Deb, so sorry.:hug::hug::hug::hug: I hope you get through this soon.:hug::hug::hug::hug:

Her regular chat that we usually talk on was on... but I let her start the chat - don't want her to get in trouble...

quick drive by post cuz i really need to get off the computer & go to bed.

I head across the pond tomorrow...can't wait!!! :cool1::banana: I'll be back at work Wednesday morning. Getting to see Ann & Albert Sunday morning, then Kaz, Mandy & hopefully Claire (Pinky) for tea at Fortmum & Mason Sunday afternoon. Seeing We Will Rock You on Monday night & will probably go to the Imperial War museum during the day on Monday. Harrods run on Saturday.

Maz - I agree 100% with you about playing on the computer while at work - if you're doing that instead of working....I however, play only when not actually working. Some days we're reeeeeeeeeeaallyy sllllllllllllloooooooowww & playing helps the day go by. My playing has usually been the DIS, FB & my emails...plus different travel sites. Way I look at FB - it my manager is able to go on there, I should be too. I'm ok w/ not being able to get on there, as long as they abide by the rules too.

I'd be good w/ only doing FB on my lunch hour or before actually starting work, but that's not good either anymore. Oh well...it'll just be a bit longer between visits from me now...I can't get on to the computer every night at home after spending 8hrs on 1 all day.

:grouphug::grouphug::grouphug::grouphug: for those that need them - know I think of you daily.

love to all of you & I may check in from London (if I take my laptop) as I get free wifi. I may take the computer w/ me to work on the booklet I want to put together (to help families w/ autistic kids to do the parks/DCL). Figure I have all that time on the plane, so why not??

Cheers!

It is a shame you aren't allowed on at lunch times. Means you have to chat with others now!!!!;):lmao: I have visions of large offices with each person catching up on FB at lunch times and ignoring everyone else for the whole day! In some cases that would be good of course!

Thinking of Holly.:goodvibes Wish you were here, Holly! We have gotten about eight inches so far. It is the wet, heavy snow that is so great for building snowmen.:thumbsup2 It is absolutely beautiful outside! Every branch of every tree is covered. So very pretty! I actually got up early to enjoy it.

Unfortunately, turning on the news put a damper on the day. What devastating news for Japan!:sad1: Way too many scary things going on.:sad2:

Hope everyone with health problems is feeling better. I am afraid that if I try to mention everyone that I will leave someone out so here is a big :grouphug:!

Here is a map showing the location of the Carrefour supermarket on Las Ramblas.

Doesn't look like that link works.

Looks like there are some closer to the port too.

Donna, how is Harry doing?

Harry goes for a CT scan next month so we will know more then. Hopefully he is still stable. His legs and feet are causing him terrible pain...neuropathy, plantar faciitis and horrible cramping. He has been receiving treatment that has helped just a little. He still drags himself to work so we can hang onto health insurance. He is a toolmaker and on his feet all day. Plus, he works all the overtime he can tolerate as 40 hours do not pay the bills. And believe me, I am a penny pincher and quite good at it! We don't want to dip into our retirement funds until we absolutely have to. Hard times for so many people.:sad2: As I keep saying, I don't know how he does it. :confused3

Donna

Well done to Harry.:thumbsup2 That can't be easy, but sometimes keeping going like this is very positive. I am sure you look after him very well when he is home.

Yes, times are difficult for sure.

You take care too.

Well.. you beat MY snow today... just rain... but lots of it... we are awaiting flooding on the river. Luckily I live far enough away.

Was awake watching the news when the earthquake happened.... such devastation..... watching the tsunami live... :sad2:

Maybe Marilyn is right. Keeping busy may help him stay active. Tell him we send hugs!!!

Yes Michelle, you and Marilyn are right. He has said that if he retires he will probably just sit down and die. So continuing to work may be best for now. I just hope that he doesn't push himself too much. He can be so stubborn.

Glad that you are away from the floods, Michelle. I was just watching the flooding on the news and wondering if it was near you.

Donna

Tell Harry that we would never let him lay down and die... We might sign him up for Sukies gardening club or we could sign him up for Champagne Girls... does he look good in pink?
