It's official after much agonizing, we've decided to cancel the LA repo and Alaska.

It came down to me just not having enough vacation days with the new job. I just couldn't see taking 12 vacation days after only being in my new job for a bit over my 90 day probation.

Its bittersweet because while I've decided to cancel I am so, so much better off being out of my former company and away from the living hell they made my life for 2010. It was worth many times these cruises.

There are definitely going to be other cruise opportunities.

I'm also keeping the 10% discount by moving the 2 reservations to dummy dates.

Deb...not to change things up, but just saw this...what do you think of this?

I'm good w/ any day.

It's another great one Monica....but I saw so many great ones. We had to pick one and get it started. John only has 2 weekends. Next weekend he's doing laundry and packing and then leaving. So we only have this weekend to print them out and get the labels on and we have to do 80 of them. That's going to take the whole weekend. No time to reinvent the wheel. Everyone already signed off on the other one that they liked it. We just don't have the time to go backwards. Sorry. John will edit the other one and be done with it. Is that ok for you? I hope so. I hope you can understand. We just waited until the last minute to get started.

You cannot have everything same with us too...

We cancel the disney cruise on 20 July as we cannot have both in one year...

We will email to TA and put it in dummy dates and also we think we might get a hearing dog this year too...

Maybe we cancel it or keep it for dummy dates until europe cruise only..

I want go on Dreams Cruise but I have to accept it that it will be long times ahead

Thanks. It was tough but a small price to pay to be waking up everyday without being stresses and beaten down.

I met former colleagues for lunch last week and they told me that my face had really changed. I said it was probably because I'm not angry all the time anymore.

Eight people have since resigned for new jobs. That says something considering the market and holiday season. Imagine in a good job market?

So fewer cruises but much more net happiness.

I have to keep this in mind too....since I had to cancel the Repo (thanks to work not letting me have all that time off at the same time), I've been bummed, but it was more because of the people sailing & the ship than the itinerary.....but I know I'll be seeing everyone again, so that helps heal the broken heart

Aw, Ian, so sorry. My mom & I were really looking forward to spending some time with you & Sukie. Understandable though. You have to do what works best for you. Hopefully we'll get to cruise with you both sometime. In the meantime, since we're in driving distance, she & I can come bother you guys sometime.
