Just installed the latest version of Photoshop Elements so I of course had to test it out.

Marilyn requested one and inspiration hit me. So here is a test run with my new PSE9 ... Threw this together quickly tonight just before going to bed.

Home from Jersey. VERY glad I am... family is driving me nuts. Had a bit of a melt down... yelled at EVERYONE... Then they were very nice to me after that...

we had a little bday party for my sister. She couldn't make it...lol but the cake was good...

Her husband has surprised her with a trip to NYC and tickets to see Jersey Boys and Donny & Marie... (and yes... I told her I hate her for seeing D&M before I do...lol) I missed her in the city by a day...

Saw my aunt winnie too... she's slowing down... asked what I did with my father... burried him I answered... she asks every time I talk to her... next time I'd tell her I'm leaving him at her house, but I didn't want to have her go look for him...

we are still deciding on what to do for Xmas. Mom wants to stay home. It depends on my gifting situation.

I'm still not into it.

Everyone thought we were nuts that we may not put up more than our tiny tree this year... (2 footer...) I can't see going through all the craziness only to have to take it down again.

I know that feeling, but having the tree there is uplifting. Mind you you are putting one up however small it is.

Oh how I hate spending my lunch hour talking to Tyler's dad. He works over an hour away and is on his way to pick Tyler up from school, has to be back at work to run a meeting at 2, so he has to take Tyler with him, not knowing what level of rage the kid is in (he refused to take his medicine at school), so I think he was hoping I would offer to go get Tyler. Nope, not starting that, otherwise I suspect he'd be asking me often. The deal is, whoever's house he's at, that's who has to pick him up on bad days. But I mainly think he just needed someone to talk to. We both agreed about how worried we are for Tyler's future. The bigger & stronger he gets, I honestly am afraid he'll wind up in jail if we can't get the impulsiveness under control. I predict an increase in med doses at his 2 appointments next week. His dad said "all we can do is pray for him." I haven't said much, but after a great first month in school, things went so downhill, very close to where we were over 2 years ago. Very rough couple of months. I think Santa needs to skip our house this year.

How about a call to the MD sooner than those appointments? I suspect a growth spurt or hormone changes are making a difference in how his body reacts and a medication change may be just the right thing. (Hormones start kicking in way before we see their impact.) Your instincts are so good.

sheesh I just realized that Holly & Tyler are joining us in bringing the Wonder "home"... Woohoo!!

New software, found my old graphics library = new magnets to be created. As of Sunday ask away... I will do what I can when I can ...

Work is super crazy....only good thing is that I'm getting some OT (next week too). Bad thing - barely have time to breathe, & no time to chat w/ Michelle on im.

Little irratated today...but will get over it (I need to - I need my job). I was told today that I will NOT be allowed to take the time off needed to do the b2b Repo/AK...so, am going to cancel the repo & keep the Alaska portion (grr). Figure I'll go into Seattle early - check that out since I've never been, but not sure - now need to go back to the drawing board.

Mostly irratated about not getting the 21st of January off...found out that I could have gotten on the Dream for 3 nights (cast shakedown cruise) if I could have gotten the day off.

Oh well.....again, I'm still employed and still have time off for the MV and the AK cruises.

Holly, sending hugs and prayers Never forget that you are doing a great job. I know it has not been easy, and I'm sorry that Tyler is continuing to experience problems, but he has had long periods when he has been happier too. Remember that He will have better times ahead. Christmas is a stressful time for all of us it seems.

Thanks Kathe. The first month of school this year was his longest stretch of success. His dad & I are both unsure what to do. We're seeing things we haven't dealt with in a few years. I keep wondering when this "mom job" starts being enjoyable.
