I can do 2 miles so far. Long way to go! LOL! I'll get there, no worries. I'm planning a really long one tomorrow to see if I can bump up a bit.

I managed to do 6 miles on the bike last night while watching "Temple Grandin"....interesting movie, didn't realize she was austistic.

I've logged (bike & walking) 11.8 miles this week (thurs-thurs). My schedule has been thrown off a bit with all the visits, but I'll gladly keep visiting

Tomorrow night is a meet at the Turf Club at SSR for dinner. Never been there, hope I like it. I may try the walk that Maz told me about last night (from SSR, through DTD & back to SSR around the lake) after dinner. We'll have to see how I feel afterwards.

So funny last night....I was followed almost all the way home by these lovely Brits (Maz & John are in a villa not too far from me)
Can I keep any brit that follows me ALL the way home??

Yes, keep them! Then we can all see them when we visit Florida!

Oh and I forgot to tell you we spent $940 in the Medical Centre on our last sea day. Almost money well spent as they did blood tests which ruled out another pancreatitis attack. Had IV for a while and IV antibiotics and anti emetics too. Excellent treatment. Should be though at that price.

Oh and I forgot to tell you we spent $940 in the Medical Centre on our last sea day. Almost money well spent as they did blood tests which ruled out another pancreatitis attack. Had IV for a while and IV antibiotics and anti emetics too. Excellent treatment. Should be though at that price.

Well I'm glad it wasn't another pancreatitis attack, but how yucky to happen on your cruise. I hope you're feeling better now.

I am thank you Holly. In fact overall better than I have in months. Cut down on the painkillers so feeling more 'with it' now too, so that is great as well. At least I'm not addicted to them which is good.

Not long till tour Thanksgiving trip. When do you travel there?

I'll be headed to Chicago Wed. 11/24, the day before Turkey Day and will head home Saturday. I haven't told my family yet because my dad and stepmom, and all her kids, get really offended if anybody misses a single family function. I'll be ignored for a few months (with a one-day truce at Christmas). I know the drill, have been through it a bunch, but it doesn't stop me. My mom, on the other hand, won't care because she usually has dinner that day with her ex-boyfriend's family (they've all stayed great friends). I'll have to check for sure though, because I'll feel bad about leaving her alone if she's not getting together with them this year.

I agree! I've skipped a few holidays with that part of the family in recent years just because I get tired of dealing with their nonsense. Life is too short to be demanding and hold grudges.
