Well... the blood tests came back... negative for Lymes... so I'm back to square one... Kaylee suggested I try accupuncture to see if that relieves my symptoms. I think I'm going to take her advice. :thumbsup2

I would absolutely trust Dr. Kaylee! :thumbsup2 Tyler and I are going to start taking a Vitamin D supplement she recommended on FB. It should arrive any day now. :goodvibes Sorry you have to start all over again figuring this out though. But I suppose it does help ruling out one more thing.

I know... it barely made 60 today...:cold:
Wow! We've had 70s and 80s all week, hit 83 today. BUT.....today was too hot. I was sweating like crazy when we walked the neighborhood selling scout popcorn. ;)

I have tomorrow & Tuesday off work (because I have tons of vacation time to use up), so I don't have to get up early tomorrow! :goodvibes I had no reason for taking the days, I just wanted some extra "me time", and am hoping to really crack down on cleaning again. I was on a roll for a while, but then life just kept getting in the way. I'm also sort of recovering from my co-worker Jan being off work week before last. We both spent this whole past week catching up on all the stuff I couldn't get through alone, and now I'm burned out! It's a 3 person job, so when one of the 2 of us is gone, it's absolutely impossible. She's also off the last week of October, and again in November, so I figure I deserve this time off now because I'm in for an ugly couple months. She went in to work all day today just to gear up for 2 days alone, and there was about a whole week of work left at the end of the day Friday, so I told her to call me if she needs me to come in, but I know she would never do that.

Anyway, relaxation, here I come! :cloud9:

AND.......only 8 more days until we hear 2012 Fantasy itineraries! :yay:

Is there a receipe on the McCormicks packet? I know home-made would be so much better...not all that nasty sodium!

.

When I used to cook, I just used garlic and chili powder. :goodvibes Ground beef, canned tomatoes and kidney beans, chopped green pepper and onion, and tomato sauce. I need to get motivated and make some, but want to try it with ground turkey. :thumbsup2 Of course, that would require cleaning my kitchen. I can barely walk through it, let alone try to cook. :sad2:

Adding extra veggies to it sounds good...

Didn't V have a 1 pt chili from WW?

Ohhh V.......... :rolleyes1

Sounds like you were a proper cook Holly. You really should get back to doing that:thumbsup2

:lmao:That's what I had to do yesterday just to even think about cooking! It also crossed my mind to get ground turkey, since I eat more beef than I should (and save the 'beef' meal for a really great burger!). I've got the chili powder to supplement the McCormick's if necessary. Now I just need to get to the grocery store.

I'm off of work today....had most of this week off in case I HAD to go on a cruise :lmao:. Gave 3 out of the 4 days back, but kept today. Thought I might spend time w/ Ian & Sukie, but they're off to Universal today. That's ok tho - have things I should do around the house & it was really nice not having to wake up to an alarm today.

Saw Kaylee, Scott & the girls, Angie & Dennis and Ian & Sukie on Saturday. Yesterday was spent mostly sleeping as I had a headache that I was hoping would not turn into a migraine (which thank goodness it didn't).

Am thinking of going to Epcot later to see Air Supply in concert (they were my 1st concert so think it would be a fun walk down memory lane).

I get to have dinner w/ Marilyn & John on Wednesday, then dinner w/ Kathe, Ian & Sukie, Maz & John and possibly Kaylee & family and Connie & Chuck on Friday. Saturday will find me at Epcot....not sure if anyone else will be there with me, but I'll have my book with me (need to be there early for the Howard Jones concert).

Yes, she does! I copied it somewhere, but have no idea where. I think it's stored on my computer at work, so you'll just have to wait for her. :thumbsup2

I've actually been thinking about it recently, and have the urge to do so, which is part of the motivation for getting my kitchen cleaned up today. Haven't started yet, stayed up too late reading last night, so I slept really late. MUST clean the guinea pig cage first today, then my plan is to tackle the kitchen. :goodvibes

Oh.....the chili is my dad's recipe. He showed me that and his spaghetti sauce when I was in my early 20s, so those are the only 2 things I can make with no recipe. It's just "a little of this, a little of that", etc. His spaghetti is the best! :cloud9:

Well, fingers crossed for success for both of us! :thumbsup2

Very good choice to keep one of your days off. :thumbsup2 I"m off just because I need to use some of my vacation days up. Well, I guess I don't HAVE to because we can carry over a small amount, but I'd rather just use them just for the heck of it. I'm not going to take Tyler out of school any since he'll be missing so much in April and May for the cruises. And I agree with you Monica, it was NICE to wake up without the alarm! :thumbsup2 Although I did get woken up anyway by a phone call from Tyler's psychologist's office canceling the appointment his dad is taking him to today, so I had to call his dad and let him know, then his dad needed me to call the school to let Tyler know he's not getting picked up after school and that he needs to go to child care after all.......GOOD GRIEF! ;)

Oh, Monica, glad your headache didn't turn into a migraine! Isn't that a nice feeling? I recently had my dose increased on my preventative med, and now, although I do get headaches pretty often, they very rarely turn in to migraines any more. :goodvibes

Ok... while I'm under the weather... I expect you guys to keep the thread alive... ... talk amongst yourselves... I'll be back later... maybe... :rotfl:

drive by post to say HI EVERYBODY!

I miss being on here and being up to date on everything.

Michelle - feel better soon!

I'm aiming to get on here again tomorrow :goodvibes
