I'm going to LONDON!!! WOO HOO!! It was just announced that I am 1 of the winners of the contest at work to win a trip to London in February! So excited!!!


It'll be a "working vacation" (as Jackie calls it)...we will be touring the airports & Delta lounges, plus hotels that we book for our clients. The only thing that is "known" at this point is that we will be flying business class on the 777 planes (http://www.delta.com/traveling_checkin/inflight_services/business_elite/flat_beds.jsp). We are supposed to be having some free time - so am hoping to meet up w/ some of my UK buddies

My training at work is finally over, but I have to try to remember everything until Nov when we actually switch programs I have Serenity here for a sleep over...she's my much needed stress relief therapy Of course, that means these two days off I'll get nothing done to prepare for my trip. I did book my flight today to LA next April for the repo though

Happy 20th Anniversary to my sweetie. Even though we're not together, it's still very special. I love you more than life itself. Here's to another 20 baby. Hopefully we can renew our vows on our 25th on DCL with our friends.

Well, I'm in Bradenton, FL. It was a long day yesterday with me and Tom travelling here and then going up to Tampa to pick up Uncle Teddy from his flight. We made it back to Bradenton about 6:00pm, had some dinner then met up with cousin Doug at the hospital. Aunt Jesse is gone. They are pulling the plug today. I'm so glad we all got here when we did. I hope it doesn't take too long, I hope she goes quickly and in peace. It's heartbreaking, but if she lingers it doesn't help anyone.

Aunt Jesse went into the hospital for routine maintenance for her pacemaker. Then something went terribly wrong. Now she is basically brain dead. It's horrible to see her in this state. She would not want that.

Today doug's brother Michael is back in town. He's been flying in and out because he still has obligations to his job. He just started working for a new company as President and CEO. Uncle Teddy will pick him up at the airport today in Tampa. Then it's going to be a very long and hard day. But at least the whole family will be together. It was very important that the boys have their dad here. I'm glad I was able to make that happen for them.

It's not a real fam put together by Delta...it's put together by my company. It was an incentive trip that we could win.

It's never easy to lose someone so close. At least she had her family with her and know that you have another angel in heaven...
