Oh Ian!!!In your defence you weren't too good health wise so excusable!!
I don't think we get anything back if we cancel flights. We have back up ones booked for next week because of all the strikes etc. Not expensive at all and ok to lose the money in the grand scheme of things. If we cancelled them we should be able to get all the taxes back, but the tight scheming low cost carrier charges £40($60) per person to claim back the taxes!Far far more than the refund would be.
Marilyn, you are right. I forgot about it, but that was at the time I had the walking pneumonia. That was when I booked the first flights. I had also forgotten to sign into my SW account which is why they didn't show up.
I cancelled the tickets from the flights I booked in July.
While the tickets are not refundable, I have not lost the funds. The cost of the cancelled tickets can be applied to another trip, provided that the trip happens before July 22 (the date the booking was made).
I am sure we're going to be travelling and can use up the funds.
