did they say what happened?

On cruise junkie a CM said she jumped around 3am. I don't think that's been confirmed yet though. I haven't checked for any info since that first morning the news broke. I don't care to know the details, it's sad enough that it happened. :sad2:

Soooo.. what are we all up to today?

The sun is shining... it's still cold, but I think I might just drag my butt outside for a walk!!! :rotfl:

Quiet day otherwise. Have to go and pick up the list for Metro - Dave has more calls for me to do...:thumbsup2 (Starting Monday I get to call 268 people and bug them for their e-mail addreses.. :rolleyes1) I'll wait until 10 am to call... :rotfl2:

Nothing planned for the weekend. I've been so lost in pain med fog that I haven't done much around the house so I guess I might start there.

Anyone else have plans?
Today my little cleaning Nazi wore me out. He stayed up late last night after the pinewood derby, cleaning the bathroom. I had a hard time getting him to STOP and go to bed! He insisted he HAD to clean it. Then this morning he was already cleaning at 7am, I think he was working on his bedroom. Today after school we had to get groceries, but then he wanted to rush home to CLEAN some more. His teacher came over for a bit and when I told her all of this, she asked "Um....is he a bit manic lately?!" YES, that's it. He's so excited for his 2 vacations, I think the crazed cleaning is sort of an outlet for all that bottled up excitement. Believe me, she knows this, of course, because she's with him all day, LOL! She jokes about having the most organized classroom and storage closets in the whole school. His classroom has a full kitchen, including laundry area, so he sometimes even does dishes and cleans the counters. You walk through the kitchen to get to the attached sensory room, and I'm sure he probably organizes in there too, LOL! BUT, I'm super grateful for this major cleaning, our house desperately needed it. I've been trying since summer to get back on track, but organization is my weak point, SO his skills there are wonderful and super appreciated. :thumbsup2

Tomorrow, I'm sleeping in. I told Tyler he better let me sleep in about 2 hours after he gets up. He said "No problem. I'll be busy cleaning anyway!" :rotfl2: Then we're going to the school carnival late morning/early afternoon. Then meeting 2 friends at the Michigan History Museum (one of Tyler's favorites for a few years now, one of my most dreaded places to go....ugggg...). After that we're going to see "Diary of a Wimpy Kid", the newest one. No plans for Sunday, so Tyler will probably beg me to let him start cleaning/organizing the garage. Yuck.

So sad.. there must have been something going on with her personally. There's always something more to the story. Saying Prayers for her family...

When he's done, can you please send Tyler over to spring clean? I'll just run out to the store while he's being Mr Clean and be happy that he will be done by the time I return!!! ;););)

To me too please??? :rotfl2:

I got my docs last night for the Alaska cruise!!:cool1::yay::woohoo::dance3: Super happy about that.

Have something cooking in the crock pot & dishwasher going...next will be :laundy: blach

Hey...you're ahead of me...

I have to go pick up mom's meds and we're having sloppy joe's for dinner... (maybe...) :rotfl:

Just popping in to say hi :wave2:

Marilyn, I meant to ask the other day, did you do anything special for your birthday?

Very, very sad about the missing CM, my heart goes out to her family :sad1:

Received cruise docs for both cruises this week :cool1:

Looks like I'll have to do advance voting...we'll be voting for a Prime Minister while I'm cruising!

I've been busy grocery shopping, cleaning(where was Tyler when I needed him ;) ) and cooking today. I've just taken a very small break! I have been feeling bad about not doing much with family this Easter. I will have to pack on Good Friday, work on Saturday and I'm flying to LA on Easter Sunday...so no time for a family gathering. So...we are having a turkey dinner with all the fixings at my house today :cool1: I am off work all weekend so will be sleeping in... maybe all day... tomorrow!

Hope everyone is keeping well :grouphug:

Hi Kathe!!! :yay:

Hi Michelle :yay:

Sorry, I must have just missed you!

Well, we had a great night, but I'm exhausted! Just relaxing for a couple of minutes, then I'm off to bed. I just might stay in bed all day tomorrow too!

What's everyone else up to this weekend?

Oh, Tyler would be happy to clean for anybody. :thumbsup2 We've always had a big toy box in the living room, but he hasn't even looked in it for close to a year. So yesterday in his cleaning frenzy, he completely emptied it so he could vacuum the inside of it, and decided ALL OF IT can be given away. :cheer2: It was completely full of all his fire trucks, ambulances, police cars, that he started acquiring when he was 2. I'm a bit sad because that was always my favorite thing to play with him. BUT......he moved the empty toy box into his bedroom beneath a window, put a pillow and blankets on it to make sort of a window seat for reading and for the cat to sit on and look outside, so it IS nice to have a big item GONE from my living room! My living room is starting to look more like a living room, rather than a toy room!!!!! :dance3:

So we're trying to keep up the rooms that have been completely cleaned, and now the only big project left is my bedroom and the garage. :goodvibes Because my bedroom doubles as a storage room, there are piles and piles of stuff, with just a trail to squeeze through to get to my bed. My mom keeps bringing me things she's clearing out of her attic and basement, things that are very cool, like all my Air Force uniforms, but really things I will never have a use for and should just be gotten rid of. They are things that all evoke great memories, but I figure if I just take pictures of the things I think are most important, I really can get rid of the things. I will start tackling my bedroom over the 2 weeks Tyler will be gone. It's so exciting to have things getting back in order in the house, thanks to Tyler doing so much of the work! :thumbsup2 He's an awesome kid! It's also nice to NOT be embarrassed to have people come over. That's a wonderful feeling! :goodvibes

Hi Michelle! Hi Kathe! :goodvibes

Glad your dinner went well! :thumbsup2 Super busy here too. I got to sleep in a bit this morning, well, that is, until the cat decided to start meowing right in my ear. :headache: We went to the school carnival for a couple hours, they had tons of games for kids to play, cool prizes for each game, a cake walk, clowns making balloon hats, face painting, raffle for prizes (57 prizes will be given away), and books for sale at the book fair. Oh, and lunch available in the gym. Had lots of fun there, had lunch there, then met some friends at a museum, then headed to see a movie (Diary of a Wimpy Kid 2), then rented National Treasure and National Treasure 2 and a Ghostbusters game for the Wii. We managed to watch one movie at home, played the video game a bit, one more movie to watch tomorrow. SUPER FUN day! :cloud9: Tomorrow, church, then we'll probably hang out at home watching the 2nd movie and playing the video game before he goes to his dad's. That's about it though! :thumbsup2

Oh and Holly... I'm pretty sure I have to have 2 root canals and an extraction very soon... :rotfl: (If I stop laughing I'm going to sit and cry...)

We both go to the dentist this week and I'm afraid. It's been a few years since I've had anything other than a check-up and cleaning so I'm figuring it's time for them to find something wrong.

I already have something wrong... I'm just avoiding the inevitable...

I'm back from Vegas. Had a great time there. I posted a bunch of pics on FB earlier.

Hugs to everyone

Ok.. work is done until tomorrow... I'm going to go and try to get some good sleep... whatever that is...

Night all...

Hey... anyone seen Marilyn lately?

Eeeeek! That's one more thing I need to save up money for. I've had many people tell me that the old metal fillings they used to use for cavities only last around 25 years, fall out at some point and need to be replaced with whatever is used today. Mine are about 30 years old, so I need to have the money stashed away to replace them if they do come out. :guilty: I'd hate to be caught off guard and unable to take care of it. I should go for just a routine cleaning, but I hate, hate, hate that and am such a wimp about it. :sad2:

Glad you had a great time, loved all the pics! :goodvibes Two of Tyler's friends are going there with their parents a week from tomorrow, so I'm sure they'll have tons of pictures to share with us. :)

Morning Everyone :goodvibes

We're heading out to run errands this morning - Sam's, Target's, etc.

Then I'm going to a Stamping Up party this afternoon.

Nothing very exciting today.

Hope everyone is doing well today

:thumbsup2 Glad you had such a fun day Holly.Sounds like you are going to have a little more relaxing day today though!

I've got myself a cold I think. I've had a wee bit of a scratchy throat for a couple of days, but woke in the night and it was really sore. I didn't sleep well and am all stuffy now. I am going to have a quiet day and try to rest up before work tomorrow. Maybe I'll start trying on some clothes so I can figure what to take on vacation and what I still need. I gave Serenity a few new spring clothes last night. She was so excited! She had to try each item on then race out to model for everyone. I like that she's not at the age yet where she'll be throwing the clothing aside and asking where the toys are!

It's bright and sunny here, but cold. Maybe I'll bundle up later on and force myself to go for a walk.
