So I just got trashed over on FB by Leisha....my Godfather's second wife....or late in life wife. She's the same age as his two oldest kids. Anyway this is like the 3rd or 4th time that she has done this to me on FB. I deleted her as a friend. What is wrong with people. It's a public forum. She makes herself look stupid, not me. Fool!!!:confused3

I saw that... some people just make trouble... let her go... it's not worth it.

I know, I only added her coz she was family, not a friend. Now I'm disowning her. I only kept in touch somewhat because of my mom. John is mom's brother. Leisha is John's wife....only related through marriage. But she's a cold and bitter hag and now she's gone. I'm done with her.

Michelle, I hate it just as much! BUT.....I've taken on Marilyn's advice. Made a decision a few days ago that I'm going to try to get as much done as possible starting this week after Tyler goes to his dad's. We haven't been home enough while he's been with me to do any cleaning, so Sunday evening I will start. :thumbsup2 I actually designated a day for each room and put it on my PDA, so it feels more official that way. Sure, I know I'm not going to be able to do one room a day in the short time between work and bedtime, but my plan is still to work as far as I can on each room each designated day, and see how far I get this week. Then I'll do a new schedule for next week, and so on. :thumbsup2

I'm so lazy if i don't try and schedule my cleaning then it doesn't get done, and it only gets worse. I have always had certain days for certain parts of the house, right from the children being little. Sad I know!!!!! Now being in a smaller house I can do it all in one fell swoop, but that is too tiring at the moment.:lmao: I do still leave things undone though, and I am not that houseproud at all.

You can do without people like that Deb. Strange why some people feel the need to make trouble.:confused3

ATTENTION. DESSERT LOVERS VISITING WDW IN OCTOBER

You can now book the Wishes Dessert Party right up to December at the moment. We did it last October and loved it. Book very quickly if you would like to have a dessertfest and watch Wishes.

2 weeks 2 DL!

At this point in my life I think I can only plan about 2 weeks ahead, and even then I think I'm being risky.

Are you going to DL in 2 weeks? You kept that quiet, or did I miss something?

I think I might have been very quiet about it, for no other reason than it wasn't top of mind for me. I've been pretty distracted lately and haven't thought a whole lot about this trip.

I had the problem of having 10 vacation days remaining in 2010 that were unplanned. Looking at the way I had planned our holidays with WDW this past May and again with the family trip in October and then Thanksgiving, the only viable space in the calendar was August.

I'm taking a solo vacation without Sukie because he didn't want to go.

I leave on the evening of Friday, July 30th and meet up with Cheri in LA, and we have 3 days in Anaheim. Bubba and V are joining us.

Then on Tuesday, August 3rd we drive to Arizona.

I know that Arizona is not the first place that one would think of for an August holiday, but Cheri has been wanting me to visit, and this is the time that fit best.

I think about the trip from time to time but not much. I've really had other things on my mind, what with the work situation and all, and my energies being fully channeled into getting my act together.

You will have a fantastic time and it will do you the world of good. As long as there is aircon then Arizona suits me fine!!! As long as you don't die between the house and the car that is!!!

Have you been before? We love it, and we have only see a little, though more than many people of course. The Grand Canyon is my favourite place I have ever been to. I believe where Cheri lives it is slightly cooler than Phoenix and a very pretty place from her photos.

Enjoy the planning.

Thanks Marilyn, I guess I should get right on this. I actually forgot all about it. I was so thrilled to get Ohana and Cinderella's Castle this trip that I thought I was finished. But I would love to do Wishes too. I guess I should check the website to book, is that correct? Or call?

I don't want to get involved with all that....so I just dismiss them from my life. It's a lot easier than fighting. I don't understand troublemakers at all. Why waste all that energy in a negative way?

I did have to laugh when she said "all your LITTLE facebook friends...." She's so immature. I'm at least 10 years older than her....my friends are not little anymore. haha.

I haven't been to Arizona in years. I think my last time there might have been 1984.

2 weeks 2 DL!

At this point in my life I think I can only plan about 2 weeks ahead, and even then I think I'm being risky.

At this point, you're right....things could change drastically for you from day to day. The uncertainty is killer!! More Hugs. It's not a pretty place to be in. BUT DL is. At least you get to go there for a bit in just 2 weeks!!! That's a very much needed break for you....you need to add a little positive energy to balance out the load you're carrying right now.

You have to phone for this one Deb. Check the park hours etc and when Wishes is on at a time you would want. The CM's do check around your dates though. I seem to remember the dessert part starting about an hour before Wishes began so you had time to enjoy the desserts. They tell you everything on the phone, be ready to take notes because they rush through, and there are some important bits. When we went you could go and check in and get your wristband some time before, and then go back at the time they say. We went a bit earlier to line up. You are shown to your table which has your name on it. For Wishes you can to to the area to the front and side to watch. No non payers can come in to the area. If you are lucky you get a front table, but then people can stand in front of you a bit.
I have heard of people not enjoying it, but we really did. Get the Chocolate covered strawberries before they go!! They do replenish stocks well, but they do go!!!

We call this a trophy wife!

Hahaha....yes, I have heard this term. But believe me she is NO trophy. She is a troublemaker. She's jealous, spiteful and bitter. I pity people like that....then make sure to eliminate them from my life.

This sounds like just the right medicine for you right now. I'm sorry that Sukie doesn't want to go. Is that because he's so involved with his work right now? Taking a break from the stress will put it in perspective and rejuvinate your energy. You'll be all fueled and ready to go when you return.

For now, just make it thru each day until you get to go. When you are there you will see that you're going to have the BEST time EVER with your plans. I WISH I could be there and do that. I understand why you're not feeling it yet, but you will....and it's going to be awesome. How could it not, you're going to be with Cheri and Bubba and V....!!!!!!!!!!:banana::banana::banana:

.

And you two should do all your wild running around and sightseeing on Wed and Thu, so when I get there Friday morning we can sit quietly and just visit all day! :lmao:

Oh I so wanted to respond to that! But I knew ignoring was best and that you would delete her post as soon as you saw it. :sad2:

Well, I've only had about five hours sleep, so I'll probably be going down for a nap around 10AM!

I'm going to take Marilyn's advice and pick a chore and "JUST DO IT". I think the kitchen will be my chosen spot...get it all shiny and bring in some supplies. I was feeling a little ickey yesterday, but better today, so....no excuses!

HOLLY, did they get your overtime issue straightened out on Friday? Hope they aren't making you wait till the next pay period to get the money (which is what would happen at my company).

.

Thought of all of you, all day yesterday....working on my PC scrapbook. Had 8 hrs to scrap & stopped while I was doing the Crossing day. (even got to talk to 1 Thief ;))

Ian - sounds like DL is what the Dr ordered. I know you've had so much else on your mind, but as Deb said - hopefully this will recharge your batteries (atleast to hold you through to October). It's great that you get to see Bubba & V too.

Holly - good luck w/ the cleaning schedule - more power to you :)

Deb - cut the ties....no need for that type of negative person in your life. Did the kid ever get home?

Deborah - you counting down yet??? :goodvibes

Hi Mandy!
Hi Michelle!
Hi Maz!
Hi Shannon!
Hi Gydell!

Didn't mean to leave anyone out - Hi to everyone!!

didn't have a good night - you know one of those where you don't feel to be asleep, though probably do get more sleep than you think. Than I was awake for some time too. :confused3 Got up for a while to try and break the cycle and it did work.

Oh Smarties. The Canadians have the same as us, the correct ones!!!:lmao:

Marilyn  :snooty:

Calling Nan....it's not Monday....we need a slap Nan!!

His mom gets whatever she wants from him. He would never say no to her for anything. I really don't care what their relationship is as long as it doesn't affect us. When that line gets crossed, so do I!!!

You called it Marilyn, she is a nasty piece of work to be sure!!!

I'm on it

YAY PAUL!!!!!!!
:mickeyjum:goofy::tigger::donald::dumbo::stitch::dogdance::Pinkbounc:bounce::jumping2::jumping3:
