Thanks Deb. Main problem is I never got rid of the pain from the pancreatitis - hence the further scans. Well, of course the pain wasn't any where near as severe as when i was in hospital, but was debilitating. I never had the normal gallbladder pain, but just presumed as they said the gallbladder was almost certainly the cause of the pancreatitis that removing it would take away the pain. Seems folk with gallstones can wake up from the op and can tell a difference straight away.

We will give it another week or so and see how things are. There was no follow up appointment after the op which seems the norm these days, though I would have liked one!!!!

Anyway, enough about me.

Well, wouldn't you be the one to do something different from most people. It just makes you even more unique.

Can't you call the doctor and request a follow up appointment after the op? Letting them know that that your experience is not the norm?

They really should do something for you about the pain.

Mom has to lease a new car and doesn't know if she wants the red or the blue... www.honda.com check out the civic and the colors... and then YOU tell her that I want the blue...

Well... once again we famously went to LOOK at a car and came home with a new one...

& she's a looker!!! (the car... not my mom... )

We went up to Saratoga Honda... (You didn't know that they had car dealers in Saratoga??? Disney has missed out on a big one there...) and they had pulled the two colors that mom liked... there was no comparison. We've had the blue for the last couple of years and she decided that she was gonna be the little old lady in the red car

So... Bessy will be a Red Civic... and Mom is going to get pulled over now because she's gonna be racing all those other red cars out there...

Tomorrow I will post a picture or 2 of he new wheels...

I just had my first Skype experience. It's so cool. I talked to Tristan in Japan. He looked great. He's getting homesick for the first time. He's been there for 3 months now. He still likes it though. He said he's going to stay in the Marines for 8 years. He's only 20 years old and knows what he wants. That's good. At least one out of my four boys is doing great.

Jane (my ex sis-in-law) says that she is having problems with Casey too....the usual stuff....not going to classes, not listening, not doing chores, etc. He still has another year of high school to go, but he turns 18 this August. His mom held him back in kindergarden.....who knows why. At least he's still in school and is living at home with his mom, for now.

Just popping in to say the Theives London airports taxi service is operating today. Just leaving for Gatwick to meet Connie & Chuck and drive them down to Dover (they are on the first Baltic cruise leaving on Saturday)
Yes, the Magic will be docked in the UK this weekend.

So we're in TN, drive was fine, swam a while when we got in, will continue to FL tomorrow, a couple short things posted on his blog, Tyler is sick. Poor kid. It started early this morning. Now he wants to go home because he feels so awful, fever, sore throat, headache, fitful sleep, can't sleep, etc. Not sure what to do. I'll see how he is tomorrow morning I guess.

No worries, I already made that decision because he's begging to go home, says he doesn't want to go to Disney World, just wants to go home. The only time his throat has ever felt like this before was when he had strep, and with the fever thats what I suspect, will check his throat for the telling white spots, call his pediatrician to see if since we're so far from home if she can just call in an antibiotic to a pharmacy here. Poor kiddo.

Not that I'm into football, but the World Cup opening ceremony is very moving.
Especially the wonderful operatic song 'Hope' which was to be sung by a wonderful young SA singer, but who died recently after contracting meningitis. they had another singer, but played some of the recording of this young man too. It was his dream.

Next is the LA Repo and the Alaskan......onward!!!!!

Next year is going to be the year of DCL cruising.....I have 5 booked, but I'll only be doing 4 of them.....hehehe.
