Hi G!!!

Hi Ann!!! Take care of our precious cargo!!! Give them lots of hugs!!!! :grouphug:

I'm sure it's going to be great to see the ship there!!!

Afraid no time to rest. I'm at work all this week.

Not sure you should be at work, but I guess if you can get in you are expected to yes???

Hi to everybody! :goodvibes

Hi Shannon.

Hello everyone. I just wanted to say hi and read a few pages. the kids' last day of school was today so :cheer2: I've been working from home and falling asleep at my computer again. I hope all is well with everyone.

Hi Gaylean. Hope you have a great summer.

Hello everyone

Just popping in to say the Theives London airports taxi service is operating today. Just leaving for Gatwick to meet Connie & Chuck and drive them down to Dover (they are on the first Baltic cruise leaving on Saturday)
Yes, the Magic will be docked in the UK this weekend.

Ann

Say hi to them for me and bon voyage. The cooler weather will be a bit of a shock to them. It is for me and I live here.:lmao: We booked for that cruise originally and I think you did too didn't you?

Morning/night Michelle.

I am in a training class and have to sit for an exam this afternoon. One of the two certifications I'm expected to get this year.

I figured that I've been working and travelling for over 3 weeks with this, so why rest now that I'm on antibiotics.

I can't believe that I've actually been walking around with this for over 3 weeks, and running a low grade fever for nearly that long.

Thanks Shannon...

Please tell Ken that I will send greetings and salutations when I finally reach 14,000.

I imagine I will have to stop multi quoting :upsidedow

Nope nothing to do with 13,000.

More to do with - when are you going to be booked on our cruise? I heard lots of chatter but ....

Here's some pics from Hershey.

.....A true story....For Nana....

We had one turtle tank with two turtles in it for the past ten years.....Mickey and Minnie. Lately Mickey has been pestering Minnie a lot....getting frisky....and she's not interested.....to the point where Mickey would bite hard and hold onto Minnie's neck and wouldn't let her go. I've been taking Mickey out and putting him on "time out" in another smaller tank then returning him to the tank he shares with Minnie. This would happen once a week or so. Before I left for Hershey, Mickey wouldn't leave Minnie alone at all. Everytime I put him back in the tank after time out, he started up again. So we had to set up another tank and separate Mickey and Minnie permanently. We did this just before we left for vacation.

When we got home, I immediately noticed that Mickey was not in his tank. Somehow he got out and we where not sure for how long. So we had to do a search throughout the house and we finally found him three rooms away from his tank. He's back now and safe. John fixed the tank so he can't get out anymore. So glad we kept the kid in charge of pet sitting while we were gone! Thank goodness we don't have to pay him for his services.:laughing:

Thanks for the photos Deb. It does look fun.

Hi Marilyn,

If you like riding coasters....it's awesome. They have lots of them.

Even though we don't ride the coasters, we still had fun.

Is it still cold outside for you Marilyn? I'm glad you're feeling a bit better. It sure is a long recovery isn't it?

We had some lovely days last week which was great as the schools were on half term holiday. But, it all changed at the weekend and it has been cold and wet since!!!

The recovery from the operation was quick to be honest. I did very well up to many people I hear of. Only thing I'm not doing is heavy lifting for another week(supposedly!!!;))The problem I have is the continuation of the pain I have had since the pancreatitis, and that is disappointing. Still hopeful it will go, but in the meantime I am getting back to normal life, taking painkillers when necessary, and trying to ignore it!! It is NOT going to get in the way of my September vacation!!!!

Mom's going... didn't I tell you that? As soon as SHE books... I'll let you know... I might just come along to carry her humongous trunks of clothes, etc. (you know a queen must have a lady in waiting... :rotfl:)

Ummm Ken... can you keep ALL body parts crossed for the next 2 weeks??? I don't think fingers alone can do it... :rolleyes1

I HATE cold and wet.....especially when it's supposed to be summer.....sunny and warm. :headache:

Good for you!!! Nothing can stop you from your September vacation. It's going to be wonderful and fun. Did the doctors say that the pain should go away one day? That doesn't seem like a good thing to have to learn to live with. What kind of painkillers did they give you for it? Sending hugs and pixie dust that it goes away forever.:hug:

Thanks Deb. Main problem is I never got rid of the pain from the pancreatitis - hence the further scans. Well, of course the pain wasn't any where near as severe as when i was in hospital, but was debilitating. I never had the normal gallbladder pain, but just presumed as they said the gallbladder was almost certainly the cause of the pancreatitis that removing it would take away the pain. Seems folk with gallstones can wake up from the op and can tell a difference straight away.:confused3

We will give it another week or so and see how things are. There was no follow up appointment after the op which seems the norm these days, though I would have liked one!!!!

Anyway, enough about me.

Normal service is resumed..........

I'd blame it on the Plankman, but he was with me... ;)

Ohhhh you want to go back to hearing about MY problems??? :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Well.... lets see...

I came into the office and leaned on my blotter and everything that was on the left side of the desk took a header onto the floor...

I have to call Sotheby's and see if they will auction off a Tibetan Prayer Rug - est. about a mil $ ... give or take a couple of thousand...

My house is a pig sty after staying at my sister's house...

Mom has to lease a new car and doesn't know if she wants the red or the blue... www.honda.com check out the civic and the colors... and then YOU tell her that I want the blue...;)

I have a little bit of a headache...

The strawberries are in...

and it's supposed to rain...

That enough?

(and you thought you missed me when I was gone...:rolleyes1)

Ohhh and Ken wants me to book some cruise to Alaska so he can once again steal my chocolate covered strawberries off my plate at the pirate buffet... ;)
