Spent the afternoon yesterday at Heather's house (threebritts). Holly was there so I drove over to the west coast of FL.

I was there for about 4 hrs - lots of fun...good food & great company. Tyler was having a great time in the pool - he's gotten big!

Got home about 9pm last night.

Have been up since about 830a this morning (ugh) - have baked my cake for tomorrow's decorating class (still cooling off) and started my . Sitting here now (minus the coffee) with the World Cup game on (Ghana vs Serbia). Wish I'd been able to see the England vs USA game - saw the highlight (or should I say lowlight) of the USA goal. It reminded me of the time (several World Cups ago) when a player (Columbian, I think) made a goal in the wrong net. He was killed when he got back home cuz some drug lord lost lots of $$$ as he had bet that the home team was going to win (and they would have if that player hadn't messed up). Atleast the UK is more civilized

I feel sorry for the guy. Everyone makes mistakes in their jobs and some just don't matter. I bet the worst complainers about this will make mistakes at work tomorrow and think nothing of it!

Totally agree. Can't think of a more exposed job, even President after an oil disaster. There is no one he can pass the buck to.

Exactly!!! Just to say 8 of us at an evening out on Friday all said one and the same thing, so I am thinking lots of UK folk think the same!

Yup... had my benny this morning... first time in 3 weeks... Good as always...

Cold and dreary today... have to do some cleaning but I think a nap is in order. I didn't sleep too well last night.

Gotta go to Jersey later this week, so I need to get myself back on my feet...

Don't you worry...you know Michelle or I will be posting here the minute anything is announced. We both have our fingers on the pulse of DCL (in other words, we're always on the main forum checking things out)!

I have a DCL Aug Alaska reservation that I won't be using and decided NOT to cancel it and to just wait until this fall when some of the 2012 itineraries will be offered up. Figured I'd use it on the Fantasy or some other special itinerary.

Not that I know of. I did ask, but they didn't seem to know anything about it. They have all had some Centenary occasions they have been to though. I did think they might have at least been going to something for the day if that was available, but unless they don't know yet it appears not.

I was a guide at the 50th celebrations, much to my granddaughters' amusement!!! Shame I didn't have anything left from then.

I hope the weather is kind for you.
