So..

I went to the Dr. today... because KEN told me I had to...

(sorry if it's tmi...)

She thinks I have been od'ing on estrogen and the other Drs. gave me the wrong meds to help. So... they put me back on the pill... and I'm hoping that helps. If it just gets me back to where I was before (which was right after the cruise...) then I will be good.

Just an update on John.....they denied his request. Human Resources told him that there is no real good reason for them to deny him. It's a lateral move. They told him to go to Afirmative Action and fight it because it's discrimination against him personally. UGH! Nothing is ever easy. I'll probably have to get my doctors to write notes now stating my current health conditions. They will easily do it. I've been under their care for many years. It's just a pain in the butt to have to go through all this. John said he wishes he could just move to Orlando now and go to work for the Mouse. Me too, but it's not going to work out right now. We have the house, we have the animals, we have my leg....all that has to be taken care of first. John will just have to fight it and see what happens.

Oh, nothing is ever easy is it, and particularly for people fighting difficulties in the first place.

Hello everyone

I am very sad as yesterday I got bad news that my dear uncle passed away... my late mum's brother...

Trouble that funeral have been hold until my cousin fly home on Saturday to Aberdeen from Australia...

I am going to funeral hopeful next week hopeful not weekend as I am away to Ireland with my husband for weekend for go karting team...

I am waiting to hear from my family when the funeral will be..::cry::

Today is the 25th Anniversary of the Bradford City Fire disaster.

A bad fire started in the stands during a football game at our local big team, 56 people died that day, children and adults.

Our neighbour lost her husband and twin boys Richard and Robert, aged 12. They were in the same school year as our daughter.

The disaster had a huge impact on the city of Bradford and district. It was said that everybody knew someone who died or was seriously burned.

Just thinking about it is upsetting, even now.

I sang in the choir at the memorial service not long after, held in the stadium. So moving.

The local burns unit marvellously treated the many horrifically burned people, and money has continued to be raise at the football stadium over all the years for this unit. They have developed many new ways to treat burns and have become a world centre.

I felt I had to share.

I remember that and cannot believe 25 years ago!!

I missed the geocaching but had a lot of fun at the Bunco game! It was a great way to be able to put more faces to their dis names. It was like having lots of little mini-meets Lisa did a great job organizing this. I miss her chatting on this thread.
