I'm sure you'll be fine, Marilyn - TBH I'm always happy to just not be cooking!!! :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2:

Fingers crossed he's home asap, Marilyn. Richard's in the air on his way back from Moscow as we speak - thank goodness!! I'm more concerned about next week's trip to Armonk, New York TBH...

Oh, I so agree about not cooking. I get so fed up with deciding what to eat and cooking!!!

Flights are beginning to land at Leeds Bradford but some departures are still being cancelled. To be honest it looks even foggier out now.

I hope Richard arrives home safe and well and that trip next week isn't disrupted at all!

Nan - maybe Willie will make some new great friends on this team.

Marilyn - you'll have a great time on vacaton regardless of the low fat, no alcohol diet :thumbsup2

Kaz & Marilyn - hope your travelling DH's made it home ok :goodvibes

We're expecting a big storm Friday into Saturday. Ian is probably getting it right now.

Let's hope that John can beat it and get home to you before his flight gets delayed.

Nope. No snow in the forecast for us here in Chicago.

It must be south of you because it's coming from the west along with another storm coming from the gulf. We're due to get hit hard. Lisa/DL5 is supposed to get the worst of it....the DC area is due to get 24 inches and they still have a foot or more on the ground.:scared1::scared1:

My nephew Casey in VA says school has been closed all week. He's thrilled!:laughing:

Well John is in the air and about 10 mins from landing, early as well. But, the fog has obviously come down again because when I check arrivals, some are holding, and others have been diverted to other airports!!! We will have to wait and see, but he could land 100 miles away!!! Then there is the waiting around for the transport to be provided, and then the bus journey!!! Fun!!! At least he will be home.

So hoping he is one of the lucky ones to land where he should!!

Richard has landed at Heathrow and is in a cab - I'm now just hoping the traffic is kind... :goodvibes

Sending pixie dust to John and Richard for safe travels home without delays.:wizard::wizard:

Oh, that's great news Kaz. If Richard was able to land so will John. Don't worry Marilyn, it will work out smoothly.;)

Unfortunately we are probably 250 miles north of where Richard landed, and the airport is much higher and fog bound at the moment. No plane has landed since 3.45 this afternoon and all the others have been diverted! However he will get home eventually. :):)At the moment it looks like they are holding aver the airport waiting for word!!

Oh sorry, there's nothing more frustrating than finally getting home and not being able to land....worst yet, to be diverted. But at least he's closer. Sending much more pixie dust that he lands soon.:cutie:

Well it looks more positive as the other flight in holding has just landed, so they should be next.

dashing in to say hi and bye...long day at work :sad2:

bummer of the day is Willie got his team in little league. Not one friend on his team :sad2: Worse yet the daughter of our coach from last year on his team :sad2: I suspect this might just be the last season on little league :sad2: It is all about the friends first for him then the baseball. I wish we were closer to a track - after school zooming around 30-40-50 laps that would be exercise...never mind not having to deal with the coach's dang daughter :rolleyes1

I'm not telling him - I'm leaving it to Mr. Mom or as you know him, Paul  somedays it's good to get to be at work

Nan.. it might be a good thing for him... play it out and see... meeting new kids always expands his circle in life... give it time... and mom... BREATH...he'll be fine...:thumbsup2

I'm off for my second ultrasound scan in a couple of hours. I'm thinking I hope they find something that is easily treatable, like a gall stone so I can get it dealt with and then hopefully not have another attack. They didn't find one on the first scan though and the radiographer tried very hard to do so!!!

If they don't find a cause then it will always be a worry about having another attack. Ah well could be much worse things in life I think

Not that you will need it... but we do have nice Doctors here in the US... ;)

Fortunately I'm not pregnant, so didn't need to drink gallons!!!!! Yes, fly out on Monday and cruise on the 20th!!!

Thanks both. She scanned quite thoroughly for 30 minutes!!!! She isn't sure if she found gallstones or nor, or if it is a thickening of the gallbladder wall. she will get the consultant radiologist to view and decide if a different scan would be useful. Otherwise the report goes to my specialist and I go back in April. In the meantime se suggests a low fat diet and be very careful on vacation!!!:scared1::scared1: I was being careful with the fat anyway, but ot more serious than that. I might have to be a little stricter!!!!

Thank God you're not preggers??? Ohhhh and I SO wanted to be godmother... :lmao:

I'm glad that everything checked out well. I hope they are able to find conclusive evidence of something that caused it. At least you're good to go right now. OK, cutting down on all the delicious fatty filled foods....just eat half and leave the rest and maybe cut down on frequency. You'll do great!

yeah... tell them to cut your Mickey bar in half... :scared1:

It's going to the south of here... no snow on the ground here... :headache:

& if he gets diverted to Orlando... tell him to stay and you'll bring his clothes... :rotfl:

Just had a text. He has landed in Doncaster, 35 miles away. Not too bad a journey home as long as the buses aren't too long in arriving. Then he will just have the normal car journey from where he should have landed and where his car is!!

Well at least he is on the ground and moving instead of being stuck in the air. He should be home soon.:lovestruc

Wow... that's like landing at Laguardia and having to get to Newark... :upsidedow
