Morning Shannon and Gaylean!!! :dance3: :dance3:

Evening Marilyn and Kaz!!! :flower3: :flower3:

Hi Michelle!

Hi everybody!
I'm tired of winter :sad2: getting eager for our vacation.
Going into it with low expectations as its not Disney, so expect little, and aim to have fun.:thumbsup2
I've been trying cruisecritic to get info on Carnival cruises. Its not nearly as friendly a site as over here. The rollcall thread is very slow.
Makes me realize what we have over here :goodvibes

We love you too... :grouphug:

So go have fun and then come back to us... because we KNOW you won't find any people as  as us... :thumbsup2

I don't know... Kaz... you always wanted to see Michigan... no didn't you?? ;)

I hear they even have a Great Lake... :cool1:

Really looking forward to seeing you and John! :goodvibes

:cool1::cool1: Hopefully for longer than the quick hi as you rushed past with a troubled Tyler, or when you were on the way to collect Tyler from the Kids club yet again. It should be much better for both of you!!!

dashing in to say hi and bye...long day at work :sad2:

bummer of the day is Willie got his team in little league. Not one friend on his team :sad2: Worse yet the daughter of our coach from last year on his team :sad2: I suspect this might just be the last season on little league :sad2: It is all about the friends first for him then the baseball. I wish we were closer to a track - after school zooming around 30-40-50 laps that would be exercise...never mind not having to deal with the coach's dang daughter :rolleyes1

I'm not telling him - I'm leaving it to Mr. Mom or as you know him, Paul  somedays it's good to get to be at work

Hi Nan

Sometime I felt like that when I was working at night...

Hi Nan.

Seems like good news that Willie got his team in little league???:confused3 However the bad things that surround that seem to spoil that success. I hope it all goes well and isn't too bad an experience for him(and you!!)

I'm off for my second ultrasound scan in a couple of hours. I'm thinking I hope they find something that is easily treatable, like a gall stone so I can get it dealt with and then hopefully not have another attack. They didn't find one on the first scan though and the radiographer tried very hard to do so!!!

If they don't find a cause then it will always be a worry about having another attack. Ah well could be much worse things in life I think

Hi Marilyn

Take easy and I hate scan when You feel like burst to toilet:rotfl:

Won't be long for your holiday... Are you go on the cruise too?

Fortunately I'm not pregnant, so didn't need to drink gallons!!!!! Yes, fly out on Monday and cruise on the 20th!!!

Good luck, Marilyn!!!

Good luck Marilyn

Thanks both. She scanned quite thoroughly for 30 minutes!!!! She isn't sure if she found gallstones or nor, or if it is a thickening of the gallbladder wall. she will get the consultant radiologist to view and decide if a different scan would be useful. Otherwise the report goes to my specialist and I go back in April. In the meantime se suggests a low fat diet and be very careful on vacation!!!:scared1::scared1: I was being careful with the fat anyway, but ot more serious than that. I might have to be a little stricter!!!!

I'm glad that everything checked out well. I hope they are able to find conclusive evidence of something that caused it. At least you're good to go right now. OK, cutting down on all the delicious fatty filled foods....just eat half and leave the rest and maybe cut down on frequency. You'll do great!

Yes, all systems go now Deb!!! Getting quite excited. :dance3:I was really eating a low fat diet and smaller portions anyway since coming out of hospital as I had read to do that to help the pancreas recover, but was hoping to have some goodies when away, and particularly on the cruise!!! My goodness, all that food............. I guess I am going to have to be picky and ask for sauce on the side, no butter on the veggies etc. TUT!!! No Alcohol. Crumbs.:lmao::lmao::lmao:

Well the weather is being a bit of a pain!!! John went to Amsterdam on Monday and had that 3.5 hours delay. Weather has been fine since, apart from snow last night which has gone. but now we have fog here, and the local airport is the highest in England, so flights have been delayed or cancelled all day!!! He is due to fly out of Amsterdam at 7pm, arriving at 7pm here(clocks go back!!), but I am watching things for him. Doesn't look like it is clearing yet, but there is time.

No alcohol would be harder for me!!

We're expecting a big storm Friday into Saturday. Ian is probably getting it right now.

Let's hope that John can beat it and get home to you before his flight gets delayed.

Well that will be harder for me on the cruise than anywhere else as I do love a glass of wine with a nice meal, plus the odd Champagne of course:rotfl:. But really apart from that I don't enjoy other alcohol. Perhaps if it is my gallbladder that has caused the pancreatitis and I get it out then I can have some alcohol again sometime.

Snow storms are not as bad if you are all home and stocked up. Can be a nice cosy feel. I hope your John is home before it starts Deb.

I'm sure you'll be fine, Marilyn - TBH I'm always happy to just not be cooking!!! :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2:

Me too. :sad2:

Tho' now I come to think of it, when I took Methotrexate a couple of years ago, I couldn't drink and it was totally OK - turned out the idea was worse than actually doing it!!! :rolleyes1

Fingers crossed he's home asap, Marilyn. Richard's in the air on his way back from Moscow as we speak - thank goodness!! I'm more concerned about next week's trip to Armonk, New York TBH...
