I know molly is a teen but Brooke wants to see her
But Molly is a lovely teen and not a miserable sulky one.![]()
Well I'm assuming that's why Brooke wants to see her again. I feel sad because my kids are assuming it's going to be a 15 day cruise again.
thank you (but really you know she is miserable and sulky sometimes...like tonight begin forced to go see a baseball game oh the horror of it all
really I'd love to stay and chat but I'm wiped out - had to harvest my cropshard work, now to bed

I want to look at it but Jon is making me go to bed. I'll look in the morning. Sorry Marilyn.
Amongst all of this "fun" snippets of posting I thought i might actually post something of substance.
You see it all began when Michelle told Shannon not to tell me what is going on in this thread anymore so that I would actually come back and post. Fearing that there might actually be something wrong back at the thread, I came back to see what was up. Well lo and behold I find V here along with Gaylean. And pretty soon it seemed like it was back to the old West Coast wonderful Friday night chats.
So afterall, it doesn't seem like the thread is in trouble. But instead I see what it was that has kept me coming back all these "years". Yes, can you believe it. It has been about 2 years this thread has been going. Pretty soon we will all be raising a glass to our 2 year anniversary of that cruise. What seems really weird is that I have kept in better touch with all of you than I did with some friends I graduated with 2 years after graduating. There are even some friends who pretty close that I have no idea where they are today. Kinda sad really. But it also goes to show how fast life changes. Or at the very least how fluid we are within our lives. We ebb and flow throughout all the things we do, ever changing, yet somehow managing to also stay somewhat the same. Afterall, we are what we are.
But I think I begin digress. But maybe that is the point. This post has moved from one topic to another much like we all move from thing to another within our lives. It is one life but there is so much to it. There are so many things that go on within our lives that it is almost impossible to always stay singularly focussed on one thing. We are all constantly multi-tasking. which, when you think of it in that way, just goes to show you how long we have all been multi-tasking. Throughout generations, not just limiting ourselves to this one. My grandparents multi-tasked - they just didn't know what it was called. In fact, my grandfather, just yesterday was speaking of how he grew up in a house with no hot water, something that is completely foreign to myself. The only time I seem to be without hot water is when I'm camping and it is well documented how much I hate camping. But then it gets me thinking about just how many changes my grandparents have seen throughout their lives, and I wonder if my grandchildren will think the same of my life. At this stage in my life I am not certain if I have seen as many changes as my grandfather did when he was 37 and as such I am not sure if I will see as many differences when I am his age.
But then it also makes me wonder if we have actually reached a point of stagnation in our progress as human beings. Or are we really making changes but because we have grown into a society compatible with change, if those changes are less noticeable because we have grown complacent and even expectant of those changes?
In the end if you have read this far you are probably wondering what the heck he is rambling on and on about. Well, the answer my friend is blowing in the wind. Actually I think this whole post is blowing. It was merely a way to make a huge post that perhaps will make Marilyn or anyone else who is "skimming" through the thread after all of our chatting, actually stop and read something. That's all. nothing really. but I figured if I made it long enough someone would actually think I was talking about something really serious and need to read the whole thing. If you have read this far, I'm quite impressed cause in the end this was jsut me rambling and babbling and mainly just practicing my typing skills. Because, you see, if I just put in a bunch of random keys like this: "adhfaskheirweifhjd;klsn;gnvdkfjiujewirh erhjweiofjdsan" I'm sure someone would have caught on sooner that it was nothing and just continued skimming. And we don't want people skimming do we?
Boy do I hope I haven't timed out on this one!!

Oh man that was deep. I say raise our glass to 3 plus years because that's when we started talking on this board. And I say raise our glass to the unforgettable times we've had, on the cruise and before and after. My life has truly changed because of most of you. Don't forget it. We don't want people to skim but I'm happy they do sometimes![]()
we don't have good hands?
one last random pic before I call it a night.

RANDOM
where is V when we need her to tell us about some alligators ???
Yeah there was no hiding that at all on the Carnival cruise. We used that bag all over the ship and on all of our excursions. Add to that Shannon wore her Castaway Club lanyard to hold her room card in, there was no hiding where we were coming from.
Hi Nan! Bye Nan!
I had my spiffy bag and lanyard! Can't cruise without the good stuff.![]()
I'm calling it a night folks!![]()
