Deb, great pictures! Sorry your ear still hurts. Not good.

Well, the Queen of losing things is on a roll. Somehow I lost one of Tyler's winter boots. :headache: When I picked him up from daycare today, I carried his boots for him to the car. When we got out of the car at home, there was only one boot in the car. I'm assuming I dropped it on the way to the car, so I'm hoping somebody found it. They were about to close in 10 minutes, so chances are good somebody found it on the way to the parking lot. I couldn't call and ask because by the time I realized I'd lost one, they were already closed.

Ugggghhh........I'm tired of losing things! :sad2:

My expected busy day, with 2 people off, ended up not being busy at all. I had plenty of work to do all day, but it was just the right amount for one person, no overwhelming stress. VERY NICE. :goodvibes

I even managed to get lots of filing done, which is my most hated task. When Mr. Energizer Bunny came in at 4pm he commented on how everything is caught up and how he needs to change that. :headache: :rotfl2:

1 day down, 2 1/2 more to go this week! Woohoo! :goodvibes

Happy Monday everybody!
It was great to stay home and relax today. I think this week will be great just staying home together. Shaelyn is feeling better today (no longer burning up:thumbsup2 and felt up to some quiet playing). This evening we set up the Disney Cars race track we bought with some Christmas money and had fun with it. Everybody was all laughing, it was great!

Ken got me the WiiPlus for Christmas and I had some fun with it yesterday and today. I'm really enjoying the biking one and the rhythm parade :thumbsup2

Michelle / Deb / Monica / Marilyn - hope you are getting better!:grouphug:

Deb - great pictures :thumbsup2

Ian / Holly - enjoy the peace at work before all the normal craziness resumes next week :)

Well I woke up to some great news this morning.

My great nephew was born today! The first male child in the "R" family for 59 years!!!!! I'm a little surprised that my neice did not name him after Paul (for first or middle name), but stuck with the hokey (I feel) idea of all the kids names starting with the same initial as their father's name. However, Meric is cool name. :thumbsup2

And speaking of Paul....today is his birthday....what a great gift, eh?

From one to another... She was already a GREAT aunt!!! :hippie:

Well... the QM has arrived home...

And I'm miraculously feeling better... (well... maybe not that much...)

her flights were uneventful... we worked it out so I drove to the airport and waited in a little parking area they have by the end of the runway and after a few minutes... her plane whizzed right past me...It was cool!!!!

She didn't want me to have to get out of the car so she called after she got her bag and "Aunt Shell's Taxi" service pulled right up and whisked her away home.

She is happy to be here... even though it's supposed to have -12 wind chills today...

We are on our way out to get some chinese food.. I'm hungry for the first time in over a week... I like their egg drop soup...

:lmao: Sounds like you're asking a pregnant lady!!!:lmao:

I'm doing well thank you. Eating more, and not as weary, though I do need to get out and about a little more. Trouble is it is perishing outside!! Brrrrr. Still can't do much at once which is annoying as I usually bounce back really quickly from illness. Things are definitely better!!

If you start to eat pickles and ice cream then we will worry about you...

Each day you get better... so glad to have you back...

(and when are you going to go back and beat holly and nan at farming??? :rotfl:)

Oh, I made the decision to leave my farms etc. I'm so grateful for your work in holding back Holly though!!!!! :thumbsup2 She can now run wild.:lmao:

Well I got her email this morning

"Oh and do you remember when I tripped outside the Rockafeller Centre. I think it was the Frid 27th or was it sat 28th oh I can't remember lol. Well anyway my foot was still sore and thats a month on. So I decided to get one of the Orthopaedic doctors to look at it and she put me to get it x-rayed. Guess what its broken lol I have been walking on a broken foot for over a month. I have been signed off my work for two weeks and I have to get a plaster cast on it today. Oh my god what a shock. But hey at least I am off over new year now woo hoo. So hopefully I will be right as rain"

I never knew that as I missed it when that happened and girls managed to got her... then she said her foot was sore and bruise.....Typical as she is nurse....

Lucky her off in new year and treat her boyfriend to do things for her:laughing:

My friend said she should sue New York then we all come back

Hello. I just got Ken and Shannon's Christmas card so it reminded me to come on here and tell you guys what a loser I am. I forgot to send the cards. I have them so they'll be late. I ordered them a couple of days before Christmas and then got caught up in other things.

How was everyone's Christmas and Hanukkah? We had a great time. Now we are deciding what to do for NYE. We will be married for 13 years this year. We feel extra pressure to do something fun since it's our anniversary or maybe it's just me needing to be crazy!

Brooke needs my help so I'll be back

So I'm back. We had Jon's family over for prime rib on Christmas and went to my sister's on Christmas Eve. The kids have so many presents it is crazy. They are all over the floor. They got this huge ball that they can get into and roll around in. I want to get in there so bad but it is a 150 weight limit and, since I haven't weighed myself for awhile, I'm assuming I weigh too much :upsidedow
