Where is everybody today? In a food coma from Christmas?

Despite doing well with Thanksgiving food, I went totally bonkers with Christmas foods. Yikes!

Well, I won't be around here tomorrow. Should be horribly busy at work because the other 2 people who work with me will be gone. One person can't do a 3-person job and I just hate when I get thrown into it. But I'll survive. It's only one day.

Happy Belated Christmas Greetings!
I haven't been on the computer for a few days.

Poor Shaelyn ended up sick for Christmas. Fever, headache and just generally feeling lousy. I ended up leaving work earlier than planned on Christmas to pick her up so she could come home and curl up on the couch. She missed out on decorating Christmas cookies, but Kaleigh and I had fun doing that and we saved some to do with Shaelyn tomorrow.
We ended up going ahead with our plans to go to my Mom's. Shaelyn wasn't doing great, but she was happier lying on the couch there with all the family instead of staying home. We just got home this evening and it was a nice visit with all the family.

Good morning. It is still the Christmas holidays here today as when either Christmas Day or Boxing Day falls on a Saturday or Sunday they tag 1 or 2 work days to the holiday!! Next year I guess there will be Monday and Tuesday as holidays too. Plus as New Year's Day will be on a Saturday next year there will be another day off on the following Monday.

Actually many firms take the whole period off between Christmas and New Year these days, including ours. It is one big shopping fest out there until the 2nd January. Shopping is such a big family affair these days. I usually keep out of town - that is no problem this year as I am not sure I could walk there actually!!!!!

I have not been out to shopping and I want to save my money until today

I want to have a new jewellery box from my work and I don't know if it is sold or not...

I feel that I cannot be bother to go to work but when I get there I will be fine and there will be party foods for 10 pounds. I think it will be busy today...

Still here - ended up not leaving the house at all this weekend (after I got back from Will & Mickey's). My head still feels like it's about to explode. I keep taking drugs & blowing my nose. OJ this morning too.

I watched a few movies this weekend & slept alot.

Sorry you are still feeling poorly. YES, got my docs I like the new format for them. I hear they've redesigned the Navigators too, but haven't seen one yet.

More playing today with Dianne and her good friend Randy. We were going to go to Scottsdale for lunch and a movie (Young Victoria), but Dianne is still sleeping. That indicates to me that she had a bad night trying to sleep, so Randy and I decided to let her sleep and we'll just do a lunch in the neighborhood and hang out instead. We will be cooking dinner for Peg and Jose tonight, that should be fun!

Hi Friends....we're back from spending the weekend on Long Island in New York with family. Here's a few pics from my cousin Donna's house on Saturday.

We stayed overnight at a hotel on Sat night then went to my Uncle Ted's house on Sunday morning. We brought bagels and he made coffee. We sat and chatted all morning. No pics since he's been sick a lot and he was just wearing lounging clothes....not at his best....so I didn't want to take any pics in that state. It was great visiting all the family though. Me and John had a great time.

I still have an ear infection. It's like a cauliflower ear. I have a doctor appointment on Wednesday after the wound doctor appointment. I didn't want John to have to take off two days to drive me.

It was very slow at work today. By all rights it should be very hectic for me a work now because another deadline is coming up in about 10 days. Unfortunately most people I work with and rely on are off this week. So that means next week will be real crunch.
