Time for Santa to bring presents out. Fingers crossed that Tyler doesn't wake up. He's sleeping with one ear open, I've been hearing him all night in there, and every time I walk by his room he lifts his head to look at me. Trying to catch Santa perhaps!

A friend of mine posted this on FB...(he lives in farm country so micies are familiar to him...)





twas the night before the night before christmas. And all thru my house. There was something stirring..it must be a mouse!..i drove in a hurry to ace for some bait...the sooner the better the mouse meets his fate! I placed the bait boxes by the chimney with care..knowing sooner or later the mouse will go there....i wa...lked thru my house in my feet that were bare... Now wishing my socks were on with such care.

cause all of a sudden i felt something splatter...i looked down below to lots of brain matter! I hopped to the shower to clean off my feet... As messy it was this mouse i did beat!... I scraped up the critter and flushed down the s#itter!... Now i can sleep without any fright.....merry christmas to mickey..and to all a good night!!!......



To which I answered...

YOU KILLED MICKEY!!!!

Thanks for all the messages over on Facebook - they have meant so much to John and me. You are a great bunch of people.

I'm feeling much much better today after a good night's sleep. We have had loads of snow so it looks all Christmassy for the first time since 1981. Trouble is I can't go play in it!!!

Just want to say to you all have a very Happy Christmas whatever you are doing and whoever you are with.

Good Morning Marilyn.....how nice it is to say that again.

Hi Shell, it looks like you're not sleeping either.

I'm so excited to open presents tonight. John is bringing home chicken dinner from the grocery deli and some bubbly that we're bringing to my cousin's house on Saturday. Tonight we're having mulled spiced wine. As soon as John and the kid get home we can eat, drink and open. YEAH!!!

Ohhh Chicken Dinner sounds so EXOTIC!!!!

I actually found 2 nice pieces of Filet Mignon yesterday when I went to Gabriels, but alas... I think they may have to wait until the QM arrives home...

Good Morning Michelle. Are you feeling a little better today?

I'm not feeling so hot. I have an incredibly swollen and red ear....then the pain goes into the sinus and the glands and throat....an ear, nose and throat infection....very painful, but just on the right side. The left side is fine. Weird. I have not had a earache since I was a kid. Bad timing now, I can't go to the doctor until after the holiday. I hope it just goes away as fast as it came on.

I'm still snuffly... but the coughing is the worst... I almost choke and pass out... I've had this before... I just hate it... I'm taking Mucinex D - (the size of horse pills...) and just resting when I can because I cannot lay down to sleep without starting to cough all over again...)

& not to gross anyone out over breakfast..(sorry...)

But the other night I had such a hacking fit that I knew I needed cold air really quick... well...the QM's window is the only one not with screens in it still... so I ran over... stuck my head out the window and woke up half the neighborhood by coughing up a lung... THEN... I though I was gonna get SO and all I could think of was that I was gonna toss my cookies from the 2nd floor and by God it was gonna stay there until spring cause I wasn't goin to go chip it out of the ice...

Luckily the fresh air helped...

Can you call them and see if you can get an antibiotic?

Be careful that you don't get pneumonia. It sounds like what you're describing. Just lie still and don't talk or move around a lot.

btw... I've had this kind of cough ever since I ended up with Plueracy after having BOTOX shots down my back for severe muscle spasms... NOT recommended...

Of course they had a bit extra when they were done and asked if I wanted any wrinkles done...

I only have ONE wrinkle... and I worked DAMN hard for it...

Sounds gross. I like the cherry ones. When I smoked, I always sucked on the sugar free cherry ones. They taste way better.

I think it was the guy behind me at Wicked the other night... I bugged him tons cause I couldn't sit still because of the pinched nerve (which isn't bothering me at the moment cause everything else does...) so I imagine he breathed on me the whole night and got me back for it...

That's my story and I'm sticking with it...

Of course the QM told me that if I died of Pnemonia... she'd kill me... (and she would too...)
