Are the girls getting very excited about Christmas yet? I can hardly wait for Serenity to come back in a couple of days and see our Christmas tree. We've got most of the breakables on the top half of the tree this year ;)
Good idea Kathe, I never thought about that. :thumbsup2

That true, Marilyn. At least when it's over, it's flippin' over! Well, it'd better be...

I guess the big thing for me is that Richard's away till Wednesday night. He's flying overnight to Jo'burg at the moment, is in their office tomorrow, flies back overnight on Tuesday, is in his London office on Wednesday and not home till that evening.I won't be able to talk to him as he'll be in meetings or on 11 hour flights. Not to mention the fact that it's a worry when he basically doesn't go to bed properly for approximately 70 hours. :faint: Don't mind me - I'm just in a :sad1: place. I'll have a glass of wine and maybe that'll make me feel :flower3: ......
:hug::hug::hug:

I can't remember the last time I had a cold this bad. In fact it must be well over a year since I have had a cold of any kind(just a cough once). John is really hoping he doesn't catch it!!!

Having my hair done tomorrow and then out for a Christmas meal with our Church homegroup tomorrow night. Hopefully I won't be coughing and spluttering everywhere. My head is about to burst.

Ah well, could be worse.

Michelle, any news from the Dr??
Marilyn, I hope you feel better quickly.

My kids don't even have those kinda prices this year on their lists. Sadly Molly has no list. She is always the one kid that hears and understands what is going on with our family. She won't make a list because she knows we are stressed financially. I love that about her but it also makes me sad that she is wise beyond her years. Of course I've tried really hard this year to be creative and find her a few gifts that are very meaningful. I hope she will like them :flower3: The boy of mine also knows what is going on, but he is too little to really get it I think. He did make his Xmas list, from clipping the ads and pasting them together to form a little booklet. I'll have to save it for him to see when he is grown up. I think he'd like it ;) Fortunately, before Paul left SONY he got a PS3 thru their employee pricing and a slew of software too. Willie will be happy I'm sure. The video games are the whole world to a 9 year old boy :wizard:

Poor little Molly, but she is a gem, isn't she?

Well here I am - 3am. What a bad night.

Nan, your Molly is a real sweetheart.

Rumhug?? Isnt that when you've had too much rum and your half hanging on ,half hugging someone , slurring at them and thinking its hot and sexy, and they are trying to hold you up ....rumhug....:rotfl2:

::yes:: how did you know? :ssst:

Well I am still awake and so bunged up. Not much sleep at all. Michelle, I hope you are managing some tonight as you aren't here.

Well... spent over 2 hours at the Drs. today... Called and found a place at Bellevue Women's Hospital here... It's a place that specialized in Pelvic health - since that's where I'm getting most of my pain. They've diagnosed an impinged nerve in the pelvic joint. That's why I get all the pain in the lower right side and also down the legs, etc.

They've prescribed PT and muscle relaxants and I have to take the pain meds until it eases enough to back myself off of them.

Personally I think for the money it's gonna cost me...I'd rather go on a cruise and take Nan's cure of everything... RUM... :rotfl:

So... I came home and took pain meds and slept for a bit... and now I'm awake again - but I hope not for long...

I've officially called in sick... & mom is going to write me a note to get me out of Gym Class... :lmao: Luckily Mrs Davies was a neighbor of ours and knew my mom well enough to let me out in high school... ;)

slept from this afternoon until about 11... I'm going with the pain meds for the time being... had some soup and a muffin and I'm just going to catch up and then go and watch whatever is on my DVR until I fall asleep...

Got the Christmas list...thanks Michelle. Just two notes for next year....Cheri spells her name without the "e" at the end and I now have both Word Perfect and MS Word. No need to send separately. I like WP. I use it for all my outgoing correspondence. But I also have Word on my laptop and can accept all Word docs. So we're good.

I had four medical appointments today....two with doctors and two tests. YUCK! All annuals....preventative stuff. One day a year around my birthday I get it over with. Today was that day. I'm glad I'm done. Now I just need to give them some more blood to test and then I'm completely done.

On a last note, where is Kathe on the Christmas List??? I need her info please. Revise again! haha.

Will change.... OH KATHE!!!!! PM ME YOUR ADDRESS PLEASE... WE HAVE A REQUEST FROM OUR ROYAL ORGANIZER OF BUBBLY FOR YOUR ADDRESS... :cutie:

I always loved the little gifts that my grandmother got for me - they didn't have alot of money but she'd shop all year long - at craft festivals, and such and find just something that she KNEW I would like. To this day... I shop the same way... The kids know it will never be expensive... but it will ALWAYS have a lot of meaning...

A diamond in the rough... :cutie: :cutie:

Well hopefully this will get it all sorted Michelle, even if you will be living in the twilight zone for a while.

Oh Marilyn... I know what your going through...

Thanks Michelle. But, my problem will be over by tonight hopefully!!! I wish yours was as simple to get over.

This is a stinker of a cold for sure. Well up in the top 3 in my long life.:sad2: With having high blood pressure medication I can't take those cold remedies.

Sympathies to all who had trouble sleeping.

Another stressful week for me. We're coming to the next major mlestone for the project I'm leading. Big hurdle this week and unfortunately due to the reorganization and my new reporting no one understands the challenge nor cares about it.

Michelle, I LOVE being the ROYAL ORDER OF BUBBLY...me and Sassy rule the kingdom!!!

Michelle, I'm glad you finally found out what all the pain is and now you can start your road to recovery. One question, did you drink all that lime juice for nothing?:lmao::confused3:lmao:

Ian, so sorry for all your stresses at work. Just keep taking deep breaths and breaks at lunch. Bring music and get away from it everyday for a little bit. Remember how much we all love you and that you still have a job. Then just whistle while you work and think of Mickey. Hugs.;)
