hi folks!
Popping in to say hi! It was a fun relaxing weekend for me mostly. Got most about 60% of the Christmas decorating done.
Unfortunately went to go out in the van last night, and there was a flat tire, and ended up getting the vehicle towed to the tire place today, because the locking nut to get the wheel off was cracked. None of the tire places are open today, so hopefully the one I picked will have the tire I need. I was planning on buying new tires and rims this week anyway, so its just a bit of inconvenience with the towing, but thanks to AAA it was free.

Shannon, glad you had a good weekend, except for the tire! At least you had the tire go flat at home. Could have been worse!

Are the girls getting very excited about Christmas yet? I can hardly wait for Serenity to come back in a couple of days and see our Christmas tree. We've got most of the breakables on the top half of the tree this year

Mom taled to Uncle Frank today... He sounds good she said... He apparently started feeling weak and lost a dramatic amount of weight recently so they put him in the hospital... except that every one of the tests come back normal... so if he's not any better by monday... they may let him go home and do tests on an outpatient basis...

I personally think he just wanted to flirt with the nurses...

Michelle, I'm glad you are getting good news about your uncle

Good morning. I'm feeling rough and have been awake for a while now. Managed to do all my farming and fish tending etc, so might be able to sleep in later.

Marilyn, hope you feel better as the day goes on I'm sure you are partly worn out from the stress of the trial.

The black and white girl is our Casey's (RIP) daughter, Kelsey. Kelsey looks like her dad but acts just like her mama. She is 14 years old.

Oh how lovely, Nan... We stopped the Santa pics when our big two were quite small and then Samuel never took to the jolly gent, so no memories like these...

And I'm swooning at Kelsey. I'm missing my two girls so very much right now... Oh and as a further link - our neighbourhood park is a Victorian space designed for strolling and called - wait for it - Kelsey Park...

Good morning from cold BC!
I woke up cold this morning. It was -22c(-8F) outside, and the pilot light on the furnace had gone out, so it had cooled off to 14C (55F) inside, brrr! I got it restarted and the house was heating back up again when I left, so it would have been okay when Ken & the girls got up

I still put the most breakable up high, cause my kids still bump the tree and knock things off the bottom. The girls are super-excited. Kaleigh has been singing Christmas carols for a couple weeks now. They were great helpers to put the tree together, and they helped decorate for a while, then they sat and played with the Rudolph playset while I kept going. It was cute listening to them.

I'm not sure how to put this into words, but my first thought was cartoon porn....I don't know why, but that's just the first thing that comes to mind! But......seriously.....Those are different than ones you showed a picture of last year....LOVE THEM!

Thanks My other brother, and his wife, did end up going with me last night to my brother's apt so that did help. ...

....My family had our annual tree decorating party today. One thing we brought home from my brother's was a huge collection of old LP's. We had a great time going through the collection together. We are amazed in what great condition they are in. They were obviously my brother's most prized possession, his only possession really. Looks like I'm going to have to shop around for an inexpensive turntable for Christmas!

Glad your brother and SiL were able to be there too, Kathe... And how good to have the LPs - bittersweet but good. There are plenty of cheap turntables out there nowadays - even ones you can use to transfer the music into MP3 files!!! I hope you can enjoy his music...
