I am guilty of encouraging extreme Christmas enthusiasm. This year, the girls have the basic chocolate advent calendars. We have a cross-stitch advent calendar, where they hang up a new piece everyday. And this year I finally opened up the 3 playmobile toy set advent calendars, where everyday you open a box and add a piece to the playset. Since there's 3, the girls each do 1 and the 3rd one is mine.

I've never heard of the playmobile toy set advent calendars. I'll have to check around for next year, they sound like fun!

Well... today the pain is back... slept through the day... I gotta tell ya... Obama's speech on Vicodin was VERY interesting...

Have to decide what to do in the next day or so... I'm thinking a chiropractor - I've been to one before for a sciatica problem so I think that maybe they can help me out this time... we'll see...

Asking MAJOR prayers and Pixie dust for my friend Kathy...

We found out last week that she has a brain tumor - they then found out it was bigger than they thought and they are doing surgery tomorrow...

PLEASE keep her in your thoughts and prayers

Tomorrow we're cutting down our tree at a local tree farm. I can't wait to use my new tree decorations from Disney. I have to try to remember to bring the camera when going to cut the tree down.

Sunday I'm going to Mrs. Bush's. They are having a family fundraiser for Christmas. They're selling recipe books and foods that they made. Each resident gets their favorite recipes in the book with their picture and then they cook their foods. Everything is for sale and the money goes to an outing for the residents. I love Mrs. Bush. It's a great place. It's the next best thing to home.

I just read the flyer again, they also have Toys for Tots, which Ray already put 2 gifts into, and a Christmas party with a visit from Santa. It should be a lot of fun. I'll probably go with the kid, John will want to stay home. We'll see.

Sounds like a fun day ahead for you, enjoy I can hardly wait to see pics of your tree when you have it all adorned with your new Disney decorations!

Just logged onto DCL and we have a cabin! 7042, conveniently located to the front of the ship and Cove Cafe and the pool....where I'll be spending most my time.

What a work week! BUT, I earned about $100 (take home) in overtime, so that will come in handy.

HEY KATYPOP!

I think someone's a wee bit more excited about an upcoming cruise than about Christmas

Well, excited about both actually, but for Christmas I'm the hostess, so there's a little stress involved there (and keeping both sisters happy). The cruise will be totaly kicked back, so I'm very much looking forward to that. AND we picked something fun for Cozumel, a port I thought I wouldn't even get off the ship for, so I'm really looking forward to that.

I had more sad news this week Remember the little boy I mention from time to time who had cancer? He went on a disney cruise and to the parks this past summer and has been cancer free for a year now? Well, his grandma just got back from vacation on Monday, that same day tests have revealed his cancer is back He is going through more tests to determine if it is just in one spot or to see if it has spread. I feel so very sad for this family. Micah has been getting so much stronger and healthier all year, so I pray he is strong enough to endure another round of chemo treatments. Would appreciate any prayers that could be sent his way

Sounds like you will have a busy day on Christmas! I'm sure you will have fun though sharing it with your sisters! And I'm sure you will need this cruise to relax afterwards as you point out What have you got planned in Cozumel? I'm trying to plan what to do at the ports on my EBTA, except for CC...it's all about relaxing in the sun there I dropped down from a cat 11 to a cat 12 and saved $500.00 Enough to pay for all my excursions!

We're going to Nachi Cocom Resort. Beach, pool, swim up bar, food, booze and beverages for one set price. They also have additional activities and can pay to do...I think like parasailing and snorkeling and other things. I plan to do pretty much the same thing as I'll do on Castaway Cay....relax, eat, swim, drink, snooze. They only allow 100 people at the resort for the day, so it's not a madhouse...well, unless it's 97 WILD people there with us. Probably won't be that many there in January.

Hi Monica! It's so great when you're back with us on here.

I'm done with my diser Christmas cards and will be mailing them all out tomorrow morning. Start checking for them in your mailboxes this week.

I'm done for the night with the leg routines....I have pumped and clean wrapped.

I'm doing 3 miles on the bike and burning 300 + calories everyday. I'm doing arms on the bike and holding 1 pound water bottles in each hand off the bike.

I set a new goal for my WW weigh in and I'm working on the next 50 pounds coming off. I'm another 2 down today. YEAH!!!

Wow Deb, 3 miles! Way to go! I was wondering if you'd be able to do that with your leg acting up. I love how dedicated you are! And great job on 2 more pounds!

Yes, it is unfair Holly I think the battle this time around will be much harder on them all. This time Micah knows what to expect, and his mom is just 3 months pregnant.
