Hi Debra! Very sad that we cant do the repo up and then the first Alaskan! We are still going to do one of the Alaskan cruises though. Maybe the last one in late August.

.....We were at the dinner table....Nan and Sukie were having way too much fun and the head waiter wanted to get their attention. Then he said, NANA!!![/COLOR]Well that was a foolish thing to do because now he lost all 13 of us because we were just about under the table from laughing so hard. Better leave Luis a good tip.

.....btw, Bubba.....Brent DEFINITELY remembers you!!! He saw the group of us walking into Lumiere's and asked....ok which cruise were you on....I've seen you all before. Yea, he knows the Thieves!

OMG....Tortola is LIT UP....we're pulling into the island in another 40 miles. It's beautiful in the dark.

We had our champagne girls tasting....I so missed you all. DCL took over the format and It wasn't as fun. The Tortolians loved it, but the originals knew better.

DEB!!! Luis was me, Tyler, and Heather's family's server on the PC cruise!!! And Zelko was our drink server. Tyler LOVES Luis! I wish I had a picture of us for you to show them to see if they'd remember us.

Hi, sorry to hijack your thread but I had a question that I am hoping you all can answer for me. I have heard that on some ships if you get a room on a lower level in the PC there is a chance that when the water is low in the locks you could be looking at the wall out your veranda. Is this an issue on Disney ships or are they big enough? We would like to do a cat 6, but if the wall in the lock is an issue then we may rethink it.

How about one of the first 2 weeks of August? How will the weather be in Alaska that time of the year?

August is definately one of the better times. We are hoping for mid July....works better for my conference schedule (and football schedule!)

Hi, sorry to hijack your thread but I had a question that I am hoping you all can answer for me. I have heard that on some ships if you get a room on a lower level in the PC there is a chance that when the water is low in the locks you could be looking at the wall out your veranda. Is this an issue on Disney ships or are they big enough? We would like to do a cat 6, but if the wall in the lock is an issue then we may rethink it.

We had a cat 6 on deck 6 and were fine....never got low enough to see the inside of the locks. Our friends were on deck 2 with a porthole and it was great being in that room when we were going down...they were definately underground. HTH
