We had an awesome day today, drove to Muskegon, MI (just under 2 hours west of us) for the day, toured the submarine and Coast Guard boat and Naval museum, walked on the pier at the Muskegon Harbor watching boats go in and out of the channel, walked to the lighthouse at the end of the pier, walked on the beach (Lake Michigan), found a nice playground, took some great pics to share later. Too tired tonight, I plan on the long weekend being my chance to play catch up with pics and finally update Tyler's page. I haven't done any updating since we were in FL and people keep asking me. I'm such a procrastinator.

That is a nice little town, huh? Paul has a cousin that lives there, we visited them over 4th of July back in 2001. Went to the jazz music festival it was great

Another awesome day today! We went to Grand Rapids, MI to the Grand Rapids Childrens Museum, and then to the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum. Tyler loved both and we had lots of fun!

Sure will, but I doubt we'll be there any year soon. It was a family wedding we went to in Chicago (my kinda town) and then zoomed around to visit the rest of the cousins.

I spent the day in bed yesterday after keeping Ken up all night the night before with my stomach issues. Today is starting off much better.
Today is the last day for the girls with their summer babysitter. Shaelyn made her a card last night.

No, unfortunately they won't be finished which is a pain! However, eventually it will be worth it. I've decided just to stay in the US until it is finished. I wonder if immigration will mind!!

You could sneak up to Canada for a visit too. As long as you keep moving from location to location they'll never send you back

Second thoughts though - I would miss all the grandchildren, so think I had better come back. Anyway, John can't use the washing machine, dishwasher or the oven!!!
