Hi All....happy almost Friday.

John and I went to Becky's Drive In last weekend and saw Harry Potter. Awesome. I loved it. John said there wasn't enough action and plot. He wasn't into watching the romances develop in this one. I was.

On Monday we went to the wound doctor again. I took a whole Vicadin beforehand. Good thing too because they really poked at it to get a culture. I didn't feel it so much at the time, but when the Vicadin wore off I did. It still hurts. It feels like I have a sharp knife sticking in my leg. Very painful. I'm back on antibiotics again.

Saturday we're getting up early and driving to my nephews in Virginia. We're not going to the beach....we're staying at a hotel in their home town. We're bringing Casey two of my turtles and the tank and full set up. He's an animal lover and his mom finally said he could have turtles. I'm looking to downsize everything so I told him he could have two of mine.

His brother, Tristan is home on leave for two weeks from the Marines so we'll get to see him too.

I guess I should be cleaning, but am too lazy. I'll probably go to bed early and then try to clean tons tomorrow night and early Saturday. I did buy a bunch of garbage bags to just start throwing things out. That will eliminate a bunch of crap.

A little, but more and more rain!! We have a wedding tomorrow and the forecast is showers - trouble is the showers are heavy! Saturday should be nice, then the unsettled weather is with us again. They said we were going to have a great summer too.

what colors did you get? I got french country blue.. haven't opened it yet... just a trial to see if I like a color like that...

I got Sunflower yellow. I was thinking it would be a nice color for my kitchen, but now I decided it wouldn't match the tiles on the walls and the floor, and I don't want to redo the whole kitchen because it's in wonderful shape, so I'm just going to donate the paint to our Habit for Humanity store.

Tons and tons of crap, that's the problem! But seriously, I'm all talk and never end up actually doing it, I just think I will because I really do want to, but when it gets down to it, I get lazy and back out. The problem is not having a basement or an extra room for storage, so my bedroom doubles as a storage room. If I could sort out what's crap and toss it, I would have more room to work with on organizing what's left instead of keeping things in mountains in my room with a tiny path to my bed, and daily avalanches in there.

Well all this talk of summer and I had to go check our temps for next week. It's gonna get HOT up here.

It's been getting up to the low 90's here and is supposed to stay there all week. By next Thursday we are supposed to get up to 95F!!! No we don't have AC in the house... Could be interesting.

Nice to know my youngest daughter is writing and performing songs for her mother while I am slaving away outside hooking up sprinklers ... Speaking of which I'm gonna guess no one has turned them off yet. Better go and do that soon.

I do have a request of all of you.

I want to enter a photography contest for the festival we just had. But not sure which picture(s) I should enter.
