Well all this talk of summer and I had to go check our temps for next week. It's gonna get HOT up here.

It's been getting up to the low 90's here and is supposed to stay there all week. By next Thursday we are supposed to get up to 95F!!! No we don't have AC in the house... Could be interesting.

Nice to know my youngest daughter is writing and performing songs for her mother while I am slaving away outside hooking up sprinklers ... Speaking of which I'm gonna guess no one has turned them off yet. Better go and do that soon.

I do have a request of all of you.

I want to enter a photography contest for the festival we just had. But not sure which picture(s) I should enter.

Sadly, my brother in law is coming home on 1st September as he failed to get working visa card... again... very strict since 9/11...

I feel sad for him...

Well the rain held off and it was warmer though a little windy. The bride looked beautiful. The couple's 18 or so month old daughter was one of the flower girls, walking in front of the bride down the aisle. When she saw her daddy at the front of the church she shouted 'Daddy, my daddy', and ran all the way to the front to him. He had her in his arms as his bride walked down the aisle towards them. Aaaaaaw!

Hey HOLLY!
Is your cut on leg better? or have you gone to the doctors?

BOTH. I went to the doctor yesterday and she gave me a giant antibiotic (Keflex) to take every 6 hours for 10 days. She told me it looks like the early stages of cellulitis and to come back in if it's not fully healed in 7 days. But it's getting better already. It no longer hurts with every step I take. No scab yet, and just now when I looked at it, it's leaking (now I understand what that means when Deb says it). It's still hard to the touch and the redness surrounding it has spread, but it is definitely on the mend.

Did your brother get a reason for being denied? Seems strange that it would be denied like that. Mind you our Foreign Affairs Ministry has been doing some strange things of late...

So... mom and I were out to lunch the other day... sitting at Olivers - our usual coffee shop place and the owner, Claudia was in a heated discussion with another customer over the merits of staying Value vs Moderate at WDW...

The other customer had stayed ASM over July 4th and complained about just about everything... Granted she went over one of the busiest times of the year...

So they were going back and forth and talking about all kinds of things Disney... (getting most of it wrong...)

And my mom leans over to me and says "Don't you just LOVE to sit here and listen to people who THINK they know about Disney??? Even I know more than they do!!" You go Mom!!!

So... mom and I were out to lunch the other day... sitting at Olivers - our usual coffee shop place and the owner, Claudia was in a heated discussion with another customer over the merits of staying Value vs Moderate at WDW...

The other customer had stayed ASM over July 4th and complained about just about everything... Granted she went over one of the busiest times of the year...

So they were going back and forth and talking about all kinds of things Disney... (getting most of it wrong...)

And my mom leans over to me and says "Don't you just LOVE to sit here and listen to people who THINK they know about Disney??? Even I know more than they do!!" You go Mom!!!

I'm watching "According to Jim", and he choked on some food and is having a near-death experience, goes up to Heaven, and as the line of people gets checked in, they're given a welcome bag. The welcome bag is a DISNEYLAND bag you'd get if you shopped there!

Holly, have you tried that Bud Light with Lime? Its selling like hot cakes up here. I don't really like beer, so I haven't tried it, but I'm kind of curious about it, and surprised that it keeps selling out.
