No scab, one hasn't formed yet, so I've been able to clean it. I've been pouring peroxide over it each time I take a bandage off.Once you noticed it was infected did you open it up so any gunk could drain out? If its scabbed over, the antibiotic lotion won't do anything. I'd rip the scab off, let it bleed, wash it off and put antibiotic on it. Then if it isn't noticeably better in the morning, get into a doctor. Poor Kaleigh had a small sore on her finger and then on her face last year, which ended up being a staff infection. The one on her face went from one small one, to a whole bunch and polysporin did nothing, it needed something stronger. Now she has 3 small scars on her cheek, which drive Ken crazy.
I remember Kaleigh's infection, poor thing!
