The basement is dried out, and no, the water does not come in down the back stairs, or through the basement walls, it comes up through the drains in the basement floor.
I've seen it happen and there are actually water spouts.
Fortunately it all goes down just as quickly as it comes up. It was bad, but not as bad as it can be. It only came just into our bedroom. In the past it's come all the way up to the front of the house, where there's been about 7 inches of water at the deepest point.
I have about 9 fans, one of which is a big industrial one. I had 7 of them going and dried out the floor. I'm thinking of investing in another industrial one.
There's something very odd going on outside today. It's making me nervous. There's all this light. I seem to remember that they call that sunshine. But thank goodness, that nasty sunshine is supposed to go away and it is supposed to rain tomorrow.

And now for something completely different.
I have been making a dessert as of late that is tasty, satisfying, low in points, and uses 1/2 of a serving of skim milk.
Ian's Crunchy Pudding Cup
- Find a granola or crunchy, healthy cereal. Compare and read labels carefully. The granola you choose should only have a maximum of 1 point for 1/4 cup.
- Put 1/4 cup of granola on the bottom of dessert dishes (I use little ramekins)
- Make any flavor of Jello sugar free pudding you like using skim milk
- Dollop 1/2 cup of pudding on top of cereal in each dish
- Chill
It's very tasty and each cup is only 2 points.
Well, I'm trying to stay awake tonight until midnight to book my excursions on the second half of my B2B. I've been up since 5:30 AM as I had to work today. There is a graduation party going on next doorI don't know how many 13 yr olds but they are running, and squealing and
Should help me stay awake though
Have your plants survived the hail from the other day?
Is that stuff you CAN eat or CAN'T eat?
I'm surprised it can move. Does it hop?
