Paul and I woke up to home made buttermilk banana flap jacks and tea for breakfast in bed :thumbsup2

Miss Molly really has turned into a great cook. We all decided to eat at the table and enjoyed our breakfast together, gave Paul his new bbque tools and steak sauce for his gifts we were early enough to head out for for the 10:05am showing of the Night at the Museum part deux. It was a nice morning. We then stopped by the grogcery store on the way home to get steaks for din-din.

We ran into our neighbors in the grogcery store who got a good laugh at us, we are wearing our THING shirts today 1, 2, 3, & 4 yup today we are the THINGS!!!!

The kids and I are now playing video games, waiting for Paul to join us :sad2: sadly he doesn't like to play games with us so he is cleaning the stove :sad2:

Only plan for the rest of the day is bbque for dinner, the rest of the day is lay around and be lazy :woohoo::cloud9::woohoo:

Sounds perfect. Such a great day. It's even better now that the kids are getting older and can do so much on their own.

We gave John some audio books for Dad's day. He's really into listening to books on tape during his commute each day. He actually listens to them through Gabby, his GPS that he got last Father's Day. He wanted the Dragon Riders of Pern series by Anne McAffee.

You know Deb... Father's day really bothered me UNTIL I got the latest stone... I get them from HIS side of the family... so I think this is his way of reminding me he's still here.... :sad2:

It's painful and miserable, but comforting in a strange way. He'll always be a part of you. That counts.:cloud9:

Hmmmmmm......have this sudden craving for steak for some reason......

OK...first a nap, then Applebees for a WW steak....sounds like a plan...OH,,,and a movie too. :thumbsup2

.

Great pics!!!!!

& marilyn... in answer to your PM... (just so everyone knows...) the only way I can get out of this stoney situation is to either pass it or to have surgery... I don't want to do either...even with the ultrasound therapy now... I'd still have to pass the stones... but one is better than the other...

I'm trying to get myself psyched to do my glop tonight to see if the salad dressing version of lime juice will help...

You know I went out to dinner with mom a couple of weeks ago and I couldn't TOUCH the olive oil dip because of that concoction... :scared:

I'm not surprised.:eek::hug:

My dad last July....

Funny how that works.....isn't it. It happens to me all the time with you all on here....you talk Chinese and I want Chinese, you talk pizza and I want pizza. Pictures are even more persuading.

Nap, then Applebees. Good to know that they have WW steak.

You know Deb... my sister and I "look" alike but we aren't I look like my grandmother on my mother's side and she looks like my grandmother on my father's side...

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!!!

I read in the newspaper today that Father's Day falls WAAAAY behind Mother's Day in terms of popularity.....in fact, Mother's Day was instituted in 1909, but Father's Day was suggested in 1909, but not ratified until 1974!!!!

I remember sitting on the Verrazano Narrows bridge for 3 hours one Mother's Day.....just typical NY traffic on the busiest traffic holiday of the year. They said that Mother's Day far outsurpassed all others....traffic wise. Let me tell you, it's true.

Some Photo's of our Illinois trip. We actually didn't take too many

These are great Connie....thanks for posting them. I love the pictures with the little ones....they're just so cute. You and Chuck are looking good too. Very nice.

When both sides look so similar, it's easy to get confused.

Everyone always told me and mom that we looked exactly alike. Neither one of us ever agreed with it. My brother is a carbon copy of my mom. I don't know who I look like. Me and mom just had the same colorings, that's it.:confused3

Speaking of brother, I better go call him and wish him a happy daddy's day. I hope he heard from the boys today.

Hello Everybody

HAPPY FATHER DAY..

Hi Deborah! Did the rain finally stop? Were you able to go see your kids' sports events?

Holly, rain stop since Friday... and the sports had been cancelled... change dates to 1 July...

I have finally caught a picture of the culprit who ate ALL my Zinnias......

No wonder he/she has a fat A$$....

Yesterday Ian was bowling competition.. so I decided to clean at my bedroom wardrobes and throw out some clothes... and tidy up ...

At night times we went to friend's bbq and it was cold then turn warmer later and it was good night...

Today I went out with ladies day out to Perth as all old ladies plus my mother in law but I glad my friend Alison came with me... I won Bingo plus 3 raffles prizes...and the weather was beautiful today...

Now I am going to bed and feel worn out....
