Good news on the racing front. Willie is still first place in points even after this weekends bad chain break :thumbsup2 He is even still in first after each leader drops a race (the season is 10 races long, you drop you worst 2 races)

He will be very relieved to hear this :thumbsup2

Nan - hope all works out with the new vet!

And that's great that Wilson is is still in 1st place. Did his spirits bounce back quickly after the problems last race?

That is very good news.

That is a big difference in price for the work on the dog.

I AM back, and I am frozen!!!:scared1: We have the heating on. It is about 57 deg.:sad1: I didn't wear a cardigan/sweater from reaching the terminal at Manchester Airport on 29th April to arriving back there this morning.

Had a good flight back apart from a infant who screamed for almost 3 hours when we were all trying to get some sleep.:headache:

You blood has gotten "thinner" as they say... you can't take the cold anymore... I think you need to move to Florida...

Marilyn, welcome home! How was the holiday? How did the part with the family go?

Are you home now for a while? Do you have another holiday planned, or, is the next one in September?

Marilyn has to go home so she can do her wash and pack for her next trip to Florida... ;)

Great news, Connie. Have a terrific time.

Woody

I think Connie comes in second to you Woody for the most cruises this year... :goodvibes

We are going to do the Tortola By Land and Sea Tour (click here).

I hope the mega-woof will be OK.

Me and John picked that one too....then we changed it to Island Tour, Beach and Lunch.

Sorry...I tried doing a linky, but I keep getting error messages.

But I just noticed that this one says walking 50 yards on sand. Not good for me or John. I think I'm going to have to change it back to the same one that you're doing.

Nan, you in? We'll all make a day of it.:laughing:

OK I just changed my Tortola excursion from Island Tour, Beach and Lunch to Land and Sea Tour. I took an 8:15am meet instead of a 12:15pm meet. John didn't want to be out in the heat of the day. We plan on being back onboard sipping a BBC at Signals and swimming.:cloud9:

That might be a long day for our Nan.

But don't worry, I'll bring supplies to settle her down in case she get colicky.

I just ate a very full and healthy dinner. Skinless barbequed chicken with string beans. I ate some WW string cheese with it and for desert I had a WW blueberry muffin. It was so good to finally eat food again. I'm apprehensively waiting to see if I'm going to be sorry. I certainly hope not. I was very hungry.

That will keep her happy for sure. Get plenty of them and keep them coming.

btw, John has already mapquested a road trip from here to Chicago for the second wedding. Get your state to make it legal, plan the renewal vows and we'll be there.

You already did one for the left coasters, now you need to do it again for all the rest of us.:goodvibes

You better bring that or I'm gonna CRY Like a DIS BABY on an airplane leaving WDW going home to London .

I think it was Marilyn that was the crying baby and she just tried to blame it on some poor innocent non speaking child :scared1:

Marilyn how could you!!!

and I think I'm following Ian and Sukie where ever they go on this cruise, sorry boys you can be alone at home :rolleyes1 So I guess I'm in for that thing whatever Ian said it was.

Glad you made it back safely Marilyn, but sorry to hear about the screaming baby. That makes for an awful flight for everybody else. Wow, what a temperature change for you!

HI HOLLY and Tyler

I didn't want to say his name too loud, I know that he is sound sensitive :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

There I go again, laughing at my own jokes....:lmao::lmao::lmao:

YEAH NAN!!! We'll have a very fun time, I'm sure.

So sorry about Jenny Nan. I feel your pain.

Gandalf.....dog before Angel.....had pancreatitus once and had to stay at the vet's for 5 days. He was also epileptic so he needed those meds everyday too. I remember his bill coming to $3k. I had just gotten my income tax check and it was for $3k. I handed the whole thing over to the vet. I remember crying harder leaving him at the vet than I did for my mom leaving her at a hospital. I remember feeling so guilty for that.

I definitely feel for you and wish Jenny a quick and comfortable recovery.

Marilyn, so glad you and John are home safe and sound. We'll miss your postings during our time zone.

Remember it's only June at home....it will get hotter. Then before you know it, Summer will be over and you'll be heading back to Florida again.:goodvibes

Marilyn - glad you made it home safe. 3hours is a long time to listen to an infant cry. The parents must have been uncomfortable knowing everyone was irritated with it.

Holly - its sounds like you are having a blast!
We sure are, thanks! :goodvibes Today we had a really big breakfast in, then hung out at the pool until about 1pm, then headed to Downtown Disney. We'd planned on doing the hot air balloon, but just as we reached the ticket window, they told us there was a thunderstorm on their radar, so they had to shut down for 2 hours. So we went to eat at T-Rex again for an early supper. The balloon still wasn't going up, so we hit a few stores and then left because it was way too hot for everybody. Tyler was especially crabby and horrible to deal with, so the plan was to get him to bed early (or at least close to his normal time). He's been up until midnight 3 nights in a row and getting up at 7am, so it's catching up to him big time. He's usually asleep by 7:30pm, so it's no wonder he had a meltdown...plus the heat today was a big factor. It was in the 90s, and at home it hasn't even reached 80 yet, so he's definitely not used to this heat. In fact, it's only in the low 60s back home right this minute! :rotfl2:

So we came back to the Vistana, I fed Tyler, put him to bed, he was asleep before 8pm, and Heather, Tom & Bethany went out either to see a movie or the electric parade or fireworks at MK. Heather felt bad about him not being able to go, but he was fine with it because he knows how tired he is, and he wants to be well rested to have a good time tomorrow with Heather, Tom & Bethany when they go to DHS.

So I'm sitting on our balcony, watching the beautiful outdoors, drinking a Diet Coke and enjoying some quiet time. :cloud9:

Hi everyone!

Wanted to say that I had a blast last night w/ Holly & crew....yummy dinner (thanks again Heather!) then fun at the pool. Got home a little after 1030pm.

Trying to figure out what to do excursion-wise for the Tortola trip. Decisions, decisions :lmao:

Connie - so cool that you're going on another cruise so soon after your last one :thumbsup2

Shannon & G - good luck on the interviews! :wizard:
Monica, we all had a great time too and were happy to have you with us. :grouphug: We're still trying to figure out Friday but will let you know after we talk about it. We just haven't taken time to talk it over yet. I'm pretty sure I'll be staying here when they all leave, but it might depend on how fed up they get with spending all day with him tomorrow without me. :scared:
