Oh I forgot to tell you that you can't pick yourself.

The question of the day is:

You are in a cave, with a stranger, and no one can save you for 30 hours. You can both live for 20 hours if you take sleeping pills. The stranger takes the pills and says "It's in God's hands now" and goes to sleep. You have a pistol, do you shoot them or risk both of you dying? OK now put yourself with your child and a stranger. Would you do it to save your child?

I have no option because I couldn't pull the trigger but I would want to save my child.

This sounds like an episode of CSI or something. There was one, where there was 3 girls trapped in a room, and the kidnapper threw in a hammer, and said 2 of them could walk out. So 2 of the girls ended up killing the 3rd and then rescue showed up. Or that stupid movie, the Fog or something, where killer mutant bugs are killing people, and a group of 5 people managed to get to a vehicle and drive as far as it can go, and they have a gun with 4 bullets. The man kills the other 4 people including his child before the bugs can get them, then can't shoot himself, and then the military arrives. I was so ticked at that movie, it was such a dismal ending.

No good pics of Emily to share, but here's a picture of Shaelyn & Kaleigh with the blanket that Shaelyn made for Emily. She was very excited to do it, and just needed some help from Mom to pin the fuzzy back to the pretty front with the quilt binding to hold it together.

Oh tell Shaelyn it is so beautiful....

The Titanic Experience was AWESOME! Much better than I'd expected. We didn't even leave here until noon to head out. We were all a bit sleepy and not feeling in a rush. On our way, we wound up at the McDonalds that claims to be the "biggest in the world"! It was VERY FUN! I was amazed and a bit speechless. Then we went to the Titanic place, then explored around the Vistana a bit more, and are now relaxing, and I'm planning on lounging around and uploading more pictures from yesterday.

Happy Monday everybody!

Popping in on my coffee break to get caught up. It was a nice visit with Ken's Mom this weekend, and another visit with the new niece on Saturday. I hogged the baby during her visit, and even did 3 diaper changes, and a clothes change. DSIL had refused to change my kids diapers, so she was expecting that I would not do hers, but I don't care about it, especially when she's only 2 weeks old. DMIL was amused that I was hogging the baby, but I did it nicely, and told her to just take the baby if she wanted to. DMIL went back with them, so she still has 5 days to get all her cuddling in.
I spent yesterday studying and will be studying hard every evening so I can do well in my exam on Thursday. I'm not starting another course until September, so that will be a nice break.

I've got a job interview on June 17th! I figure I've got a 50/50 shot at it, so its worth using a vacation day to go to the interview, and if it doesn't happen, I'll be bummed but I'll get over it. I've also got my resume out to a few other jobs, and eventually it will happen.

And Michelle wants lots of posts, so I'll put my next comments into a new post

That requires too much deep thought for me to ponder....my brain is on vacation too. It's gone into a dormant state until I get back home.

Will all the wildfires over the last few years, and people evacuating, have any of you ever planned out what you would do if you had to evacuate your house? Ken and I talked about that a couple years ago. We both had the same thoughts. Kids into the car first, and they each get one toy. Then we grab computer (so many pictures are on it) and then photos off walls & photoalbums.

I'd have enough trail mix with me to last me that long... and I'd bring along a pack of cards and we'd be planning cruises together by the end of the 30 hours...

I'm so hungry, but I'm so afraid to eat. I'm feeling ok right now and I don't want to make it worse again. Maybe I'll try an english muffin. That's pretty bland.

At least I'm getting it all out of my system now so that I can be healthy....hopefully.....for September. I definitely need to be back on Mickey's ship.

Try a nice cup of tea... that always helps me..

It was The Mist. The book was much better and had a different ending.

Another day in paradise has come to an end. After we got back from the Titanic Experience and the giant McDonald's, we had Monica over for dinner and then for a long dip in the pool. Lots of fun! I think we're corrupting Monica!

I probably won't post many more pictures on Tyler's page right away. The wireless connection isn't very strong here. Pictures take forever to upload and I'm too darned tired!

This is an incredible vacation, and we've only just begun! Tomorrow (or I suppose that would be later this morning) Heather's mom is coming to spend the day with us (and she's bringing one of Bethany's friends). She's showing up in the morning with supplies to fix a big breakfast for us, then we'll all hang out at the pool until mid-afternoon. Then we'll all head to Downtown Disney to go on balloon ride there (if weather allows), will have dinner at T-Rex Cafe again, go back to the Lego store so Tyler can buy something else for himself there. Wednesday and Thursday will be MK and HS. I'm only doing MK and Tyler will go with Bethany, Heather & Tom to HS, so I get a totally free day! What a nice break that will be!
