I came home from work today and he is not here, not a surprise, I expected him to be out with friends. I did not expect to find...


2 dirty frypans, numerous dirty dishes, an unmade bed, smelly rotten food in the garbage leftover from the road trip Do they ever grow up

(when I say they, I really mean just him, Sara would not have left such a mess, unless she left a note to say she'd be home shortly to clean it up )

Yup...

OK, I usually don't ask for things, but I need you all to send the motivation fairy my way. I was doing so great, but lost my WW motivation while on vacation and haven't gotten it back yet. I've gained another pound, so that makes a 6 pound gain. That's STILL a 9 pound loss, but I need to turn around and start going in the right direction again.

Perhaps if I go grocery shopping tomorrow after work and get all the good things I was eating before vacation and if my kitchen is filled up with WW friendly foods, I might get back on track.

Just start it again and remember... one day... one step at a time... or as Ian says... 1/2 lb at a time..

I love the thought that Charlie, Don & Michelle's dad are all up in heaven chatting things up & keeping the others company.

Yup... & I'm thinkin right about now they want to push my dad off the cloud...

And don't forget Tammy's husband too.

MICHELLE: A little help please. My stepmom would like to make a couple cool ties for my dad but can't remember what the crystals are that go inside. I was explaining to my dad the one you made, and that's when he told me that's what my stepmom was trying to make for him.

I can't remember Jill's screen name. What is it? I need to PM her and ask if she & Matt would be willing and able to meet up with me & Tyler at the aquarium in Gatlinburg on 7/5 or 7/6.

I have never had as much motivation as I did the first time but I was losing too much weight. I went to Hawaii and messed up my diet. I had plans of being skinny and took lots of pictures of myself being fat because I wanted before and after. I was going to do it for sure. I'm not sure why it stopped. On the other hand, I know someone that had to join four times and on the last time she lost 100 pounds. She said the key for her was meetings. I'm just happy to lose anything now. I wish I had that motivation that I did the first time but I'm just happy to lose because if you're not losing, you're gaining.

Holly - it's not just you.....I finally decided that I was going to get back on the band wagon today (well - decided to do better this weekend). Weighed in today & am up a few lbs but still down 16....believe me, I'm still happy about that

So.....you & I - we're a team - we'll try to get each other going & keep each other on track - K???

Maybe we all need to stop vacationing for a while

He didn't get one of the back flip but I do hear it was perfect form He did get a video of me doing a split jump into the pool but since I am wearing a swim suit I would never show it

I use Shultzes water crystals... Home depot may have them - if not Amazon does...

You only use 1/8 of a tsp for each of the 4 pockets you make (you can make them with 2 pockets, but with 4 it gets distributed better. Don't over use the crystals cause they swell up a ton and they will seep through the seams.

The rest of the crystals have lasted me severa years and I put them in my pots every spring for my plants... it's what Miracle Gro uses for the Moisture potting soil.

Oh and cotton - like the kind you get for quilts, etc... the very thin type works best... otherwise turning them inside out is a pain. (as we learned...)
