Oh that’s beautiful she’s going to love it. I wish I was crafty and could sew. I would have loved to do something like that for my kids.

You need to find a craft shop that offers lessons! I absolutely LOVE creating these things; wish I could do it "all day"...not just for our kids but for all of them I work on. Everyone just loves the memories. It's not that hard to put together; biggest "problem" with hers was those LITTLE costumes/shirts! I combined 2-3 shirts on 1 square in a couple of cases. That process took a long time. Excited to see what she thinks about it; Sara doesn't even know I made it....Allie was the only one I didn't "hide" it from since I knew she'd be gone when we gave it to her. The back of the quilt is "special order" material a fabric shop in Sealy obtained a couple years ago. It has the Bellville logo and Brahma bull on it...have enough for Allie's quilt too. Cost an "arm and a leg" but worth it...makes it extra special.

Fun birthday celebration for Katie! She loved the quilt and the shadow box brought tears to her eyes! She was surprised to see her "baby Center Stage" jacket again...had forgotten she'd given it to me years ago!

...and then Pappy "wrapped her in love"!
