She doesn't have paint. She has plastic panels.

Which reminds me, there were two women at the Smart Car party (we thought they were a couple), who ordered new panels for their car. They are changing her from a red to a bumblebee like ours.

They did ask if we wanted to swap car panels with them. I told them that Mrs. Fezziwig was very happy being bright yellow.
Wow, that's very cool! I do remember you mentioning that, now that I think about it.

Yeah, $2,400 over the year isn't bad. Though it might make Mrs. Fezziwig feel cheap. I'll have to let them know that she does not like the money left on the night stand.

I'm going to reply back to them and see what they have to say.

Make sure to read and re-read the fine print!! If there is a catch I'll be it will be in there!

I guess I'd better get to bed. I was asleep before 11pm last night and felt like I'd slept 12 hours! It was very nice, so I want to repeat that! :goodvibes Goodnight all! :cloud9:

Some Easter morning pics from our place ...

The Easter Bunny played a trick on the girls. He put the baskets a little high up for the girls to get at this morning when they woke up:

But then they tore into the baskets:

and then we had breakfast:

Shannon tells me holiday Mickey pancakes are less points than everyday Mickey pancakes but still more points than vacation Mickey pancakes.

Shaelyn made the juice:

And what was inside the Macy's bags you ask? Well, every year my mother sends Easter dresses up for the girls (she works for Macy's). It is a hilight of Easter for the girls:

Happy Easter everyone!!

Very cute and sneaky about the baskets. I'm sure those pancakes are less points....only because they are small ;) But what about all the candy :rolleyes1

Happy Easter everybody! I see Ken already shared pics from our morning. Today was the first day trying out the Mickey pancake shapers. They worked great. The first couple weren't too good because I put too much batter in, but by the end I was getting them all good.

I had originally planned to get lots done this weeked, but I'm not. I spent 2 evenings helping a friend make a cake, and then Sat afternoon at the party. Now, I've revised my weekend goals to getting enough :laundy: done so that whatever is left will at least fit in the laundry hampers. ;)

I don't think that's ever happened to me. We've always had an extra room so it was our "Laundry" room but now we don't and we need it more than ever

Hi Monica:

Thanks for asking, yesterday was pretty good. Not too much drama, but today Paul's mom allready called to see when she can "get the kids" to see them. This is the problem, I don't trust that she will stay sober with them, so I can't make unaccompanied plans with her and them. This situtation rises every 6 months or so, and Paul feels guilty that they aren't seeing his parents. their grandparents....I'm the bad guy. I wish he was the one that would decide to keep them safe :sad2:

I have a similar situation but way different, if that makes sense. I like it when Jon's parents take the kids because they do really fun things with them. This weekend they are going camping in the RV to a place they love. The problem is that she tells them things about them and about us and Jon when he was little that I don't like. I also feel guilty because I can't stand to be with them so why should I expect the kids too. Plus, Jon's dad is a racist and uses the F word about it too much and you all know how I feel about discrimination. They take them once or twice a year and Jon thinks it's OK because he turned out alright but I think if you're use to something it is different and I can't help but wonder what they are saying about us. While we were in Mexico she told Brooke not to hold her hands up at her chest and pant like a dog because she looked ugly. She was pretending to be a dog :confused3 I like that my 6 year old still wants to play.

Popping in to say hi from work. It did not feel nice when I had to get up and head for work, while Ken and the girls are staying home. But Ken nicely volunteered to do a few loads of laundry if I told him what to wash. :goodvibes I'm always behind on laundry. And he's got Shaelyn going through her bedroom pulling out the clothes that are too small or she doesn't like and so doesn't wear. It should be interesting to see the pile when I get home.

I'm not sure if this will help but there were many times when I wasn't working and I wished I was at work and Jon was at home. He gets sad in the summer when we are still in our pjs when he leaves. I just thought about something....I can't wait for summer ;)

It boggles the mind, the extent to which you go to carry on the sad charade. When the truth is that you will be hiding in your house to avoid us.

Well, continue with this fantasy if you must, as I know I am sure of the truth.

Does she have a balcony at home?

OK, here's the question of the day ... I received an email asking me if I would like to earn $200 a month, by having Mrs. Fezziwig be a billboard for the year.

They would wrap the car (similar to the bad girls at the Smart Car party) and for this I would get paid.

Should I find out more?

Depends... how will Mrs F. Feel about it and can you get someone to sponsor Mrs Bennett?

I'd say it depends on what they want to put on her.

Yeah... fishnets are tacky... unless she's red...

That's exactly what Sukie said! Have you been channeling him again!

I don't know, for $2400 a year, I could be happy feeling cheap!

I contacted them back. I'll see what they say.

Obviously Smart Cars are a novelty and get a lot of attention. I might as well see if I can cash in on it. It would more than pay for the TA cruise.

Perhaps, Mrs. Fezziwig will have to become a working girl.

:scared1::scared1::scared1::scared1:

NOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!! We'll figure out how to send her to Harvard... DON'T DO IT!!!

She's always our Little Miss Sunshine... :)

It's a tough situation for us all... you want to watch out for the kids the most... :grouphug:

Jon tried to do it but at the time he wasn't driving far enough and he didn't have a smart car :snooty: You should find out more.

The problem that I have is that my grandma (dad's mom) is "old fashion" and my mom, being the hippie she is, didn't love her. She was racist, from what my mom tells me, I couldn't tell. She took me a lot and I love her. She played games with me and did fun stuff with me. I was heart broken when she left CA when I was 12. I would spend summers with her until my friends became more important. As an adult, I see that she wasn't the best but I couldn't tell then. She taught me how to sew, knit and crochet and my mom didn't have time for that. Plus, in the summers in TX, we would garden and she was there with me and it was really nice to see a different side, even though I may not believe in it. I just worry that my kids will have a different experience and I also fear they won't have the experience at all if I don't let them :confused3

and where you might have to drive her...I bet there are requirements for her to "be seen"

but it does sound like easy money. if she can't do it I have a honda mini van that would be happy feeling cheep, oh wait that was me sorry ;)

Hey, I have a KIA :lmao:

 Nan, I'm sorry things have to be this way. I can't understand why she would choose to drink when her grandkids are around.

I have a friend that says her babysitter pops the cork right when she gets there. That would still scare me :confused3

Wow, only 2 pages since I was on here last night?! I was hoping to have lots to read!

Soooooo busy today at work, but that made me very happy because my day flew by. :thumbsup2 When I picked Tyler up from school, I realized I'd forgotten to wash our karate outfits, so we both skipped class tonight and are going tomorrow night instead.

I came home to find TWO MORE of my cash cards from Coke in the mail! That's 6 that I've actually received so far! And again, they were $25 each instead of the $20 that mycoke.com says I won. It all adds up! :cool1: I don't think I have any more coming.....I lost track! But even if that's it, it was a nice extra $150 to keep for vacation. :yay:

I keep forgetting. I signed up but didn't win the first time. I need to go over there.

G... what you and your grandmother had was some special times together... and you have nice memories from that. She wasn't perfect... but you do remember having some nice times.

I never knew my grandparents on my fathers side... my grandmother died before I was born and my grandfather was a philandering embezeling jerk. But my other grandparents hold a very special part of my heart. & I wouldn't trade anything in for that time, and I miss them everyday.

Kotex add :lmao:

Now that I have to object to... Putting our Drag Name on the side of Mrs. F... :sad2:

Gee... I was cheap... I would babysit for Dr. Pepper and cable... (back when nobody HAD cable... (the 80's G... ok???) ;)

OK, why is everything making you cry? ;) Knock that off, would you?
Oh, If you think this is bad you should see me with the Hallmark commercials at Christmas time. And forget those old AT & T commercials, (but you're probably too young to remember those!!:rotfl::rotfl:
