It's not too bad, though it looks better here on one of our computers. It loses a bit of the quality in the downsizing and compression for the web:

Yup, Matt is definately a keeper!!! I am excited and nervous at the same time. I am used to having a lot of time to plan but we will be back in Dec.

Matt is also getting us annual passes (since we will be back in Dec.) So I am going to get the gift card for my birthday. He also called everyone and told them to get me $ or Disney gift card for my b-day.

Ohhhh just go and wing it... it could be fun!!!

Hello everyone, I'm back. I see my friends are in the area so I'm excited even though I haven't gotten a call yet. I guess DL is more important.

My trip was fun but expensive. Being right on the beach was great. I don't have a lot to say, surprisingly. I took a few pictures but I haven't put any on the computer yet.

I am sooo excited! First thing though, Michelle I will be getting the scavanger hunt off my computer tonight. Sorry it has taken so long I have been soo busy.

Ok now to the great news. Matt is taking me to WDW for my birthday!! I am so excited (so is he). Since it is last minute we aren't staying on property but in downtown Orlando. We will be staying at the Royal Crowne. It looks nice and we will have a car so it will be great. This has to be a very budget trip so we used priceline and that is what we got. We will be there April 2-6, my birthday is the 3rd. We are both very excited!

We went to Lanzarote one of the Canary Islands. It should have been very nice and warm, and it was our first week, but the second it was cool. Having said that you could get out of the nithering N wind and get hot in the sun.

We cancel the Baltic Cruise last weekend

Because of exchange rates are very poor and the Baltic Cruise are very expensive plus excursions too...

We had the second thought then we decided to cancel it.

However, we change the planning that we are going to Dover to Barcelona with Disney Cruise..

We told our kids about Baltic but the kids seem happy for Dover to Barcelona... oh well...

Ian and I are bit disappointed as we were so looking forward to, oh well better than nothing...

What an awesome trip! We've been debating trying Priceline for hotels in Orlando. We used it all the time in CA for DL but haven't yet here.

Oh and if they have a special in the shops (spend $50 get a watch, afghan, etc. for $15) you can count your gift card purchases towards it and just pay the $15 - or whatever the current special rate is - if you're interested in the item.

It's a little Sanyo Xacti E2 video camera. Holly was the one who found it, and then after some research, I became more interested. The Sanyo is also WATERPROOF! It can be submerged for up to 30 minutes at a time to a depth of up to 5 feet.

It also takes 8 mp still photos.

I have a video camera, but it's a digital-8 that I never use because at over 4 pounds, I just don't like schlepping it around. Also taking video clips off of tape is a pain because its a serial medium and not a direct access medium.

Holly found that Amazon had a warehouse deal on it. The camera retails for $399, Amazon's normal price is $219 and I paid $129 with the warehouse deal.

It works great with the Mac. Very seamless. You work with the video clips just like you would photos.

The outdoor quality is really good. The posted video does not do it justice, but for the web, the video has to be compressed and the data downsized, so you lose a fair bit of quality. Viewing the full MP4 video here has really great quality.

True about children are not bothered with the ports they just want to be on Cruise

Keith said to me last night that he think Russia too cold and I had to explained him that it is in Summer that won't be very cold just like summer here (well i think so)... He said he think Spain are much better oh well....
