Marilyn:

I'm so sorry for your loss. I'm don't know what ME is?

I agree with the sentiments that a parent should never had to bury a child.

Sadly, a good friend of mine is also sharing some terrible news this week. Her boss's daughter, aged 15 comitted sucide last Sunday. Such a shock. This is the 2nd death to affect a local high school in our area in less than a week. Not sure if you've heard the local news of the teenager that was missing off the coast of Santa Cruz. That is the same high school, and sadly his mom works with my nephew. Sadly these boys were drinking at an overnight beach party and he just wandered into the ocean at 4am. Such a terrible week of news for deaths of those that are so young :sad1:
How terrible. :sad2:

I am VERY excited today! My son called last night with the dates he is able to get off work this summer. We have been able to find a week in August that we can both get off...so YIPPEE...I'll be going to Alberta in August :cool1: I think I'm using airmiles to fly this trip, so I'm just trying to see what might work out for flights. I will fly to Calgary where Brian and his new girlfriend will pick me up. We will spend a few days in Banff National Park, then a couple of days in Jasper National Park, then one day in Hinton, where he lives. The following day he will drive me to Edmonton to fly home!!! Did I say I was excited :dance3: Ouch, except that dancing is hurting my back :headache: :lmao:

Holly... make sure there aren't any spaces in between the links to your pictures... they should appear next to each other then... (unless it's too big...)
Yup, I always do. It showed up for a few minutes and then disappeared. :guilty: Oh well, life goes on. ;)

I know St. Patrick's Day was yesterday, but when I got home from the Raglan Road last night, I found this lovely story from a friend of mine.......

Enjoy!

Top O' mornin to ye!

While on vacation in Rome, I noticed a marble column in
St. Peter's with a golden telephone on it. As a young
priest passed by, I asked who the telephone was for. The
priest told me it was a direct line to Heaven, and if
I'd like to call, it would be a thousand dollars. I was
amazed, but declined the offer.

Throughout Italy, I kept seeing the same golden telephone
on a marble column. At each, I asked about it and the
answer was always the same: a direct line to Heaven and I
could call for a thousand dollars.

Then - I went to Ireland

I finished my tour in Ireland. I decided to attend Mass at
a local village church.
When I walked in the door I noticed the golden telephone.
Underneath it there was a sign stating: "DIRECT LINE TO
HEAVEN 25 cents."

On leaving the church, I said, "Father, I have been all over Italy and
in all the cathedrals I visited, I've seen telephones
exactly like this one. But the price is always a thousand
dollars.
Why is it that this one is only 25 cents?"

The priest smiled and said, "My boy, you're
in Ireland now. It's a local call.
.."

HAPPY SAINT PATRICK'S DAY
I love it! Connie, did you all have a good time yesterday?

I just won ANOTHER $20 cash card on mycoke.com! That makes $120 so far!

So, all you do is buy Coke and check the codes? And win MONEY? WOW! I might have to drink Coke! (we normally drink Pepsi or Mt. Dew if we aren't at Disney):flower3:

You don't even have to buy or drink it. On mycoke.com if you find and click on the official rules, it provides a link to be given a code and you just type in the code they show you. You can do it 2 times a day. :thumbsup2

Hi Connie! Welcome back! How was the cruise?

:confused3

Of course, our cruise was great, the food was great, the entertainment was great, the CM's were great! The duo at the Promenade Lounge....Midtown (Sharon and Will) practially adopted Patrick! They remembered him from our November cruise, and he remembered them! Patrick always likes to sit RIGHT in front of the stage, and Sharon made him a "Reserved for Patrick" sign! He thought that was just the BEST! We spent a lot of time with them every day, it really made Patrick's Trip special!

BTW, I am FINALLY over my GI illness that I camedown with on Friday.....Hurray! :cheer2::cheer2::cheer2::cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:

I'm having trouble staying awake long enough to watch Lost! Good thing it starts in a few minutes!
