OK, have you ever looked at something quickly and then had to do a retake, because you couldn't believe what you saw, or heard? Then, looking again, you realized how your brain had incorrectly processed the information?

This happened to me last night.

I was on the DVC Member site looking under the member perks section. I was looking for the link to buy our discounted WDW annual passes.

I realized I had not been on for some time and decided to peruse the benefits.

Now here's where the rather funny and odd misprocessing of information comes in:

What I "saw" was the following (with the accompanying graphic):

I quickly thought, "Oh, no! Don't tell me they have Disney themed funerals!" It appeared to me like a solemn Mickey, head bowed, bunch of flowers.

I looked at it again and realized it said, "The Disney Floral Experience."

Ken has thrown down the gauntlet at me regarding Twitter.

I decided to check it out today. Much to my horror, there is already a user with the ID iankh! How selfish can you be! Didn't he realize that was my ID? There is no other iankh in the world, except for me, this one, the real thing, the genuine article.

How can I possibly have a different ID. Besides that, would could I possibly use as an ID!?!

I bet it is an account you already setup but are in denial about!!!

But truthfully, I'm still trying to figure out the purpose. It seems to basically be the same thing as the "Status Updates" on Facebooks, just you do it more often. It is a kinda like a ticker for stocks but this time on your friends.

The article is interesting. Not sure how viable it is as a business. I think I would have taken the buy out from Facebook and gone on a few cruises...

And for the record I looked into that "other" iankh:

Imagine if you could be creamated and placed under your name brick like the one that Ken and Shannon have. Imagine if your ashes get to be carried in the parade before being placed into your permanent spot.

Hmmm that brick cost almost the same as a plot at the cemetary ....

Unfortunately they only guarantee the brick for 10 years. Hopefully where ever I am laid to rest will last longer than 10 years!! LOL

Hanging with Mickey forever isn't a bad idea though.

Yep I want to be cremated as well and my ashes scattered to the winds.

So the NHL trade deadline day gets started in 5 hours and 50 minutes (5am PT).

Is everyone excited about it? What moves do you think your favourite Team is going to make? Do they have the guys on the roster needed to make a run for the Cup or are the aspirations for the Cup merely a dream and your team is looking to the future?

I know I will be on the edge of my seat all day tomorrow. (actually I won't be as I'm not that big of a fan - doesn't football season start soon?)

I asked Paul and he said, go if you want to...but I don't want to drive alone, so I'm thinking not likely, unless he has a change of heart...ya never know stranger things have happened.

I do, but I am trying to stay on his nice side... he and bubba are grumpy lately... Or was that Sleepy...

I don't know if the Albany River Rats are part of all of that... & besides....they are still celebrating the fact that their tour bus and team survived driving off the road last month...
