I feel like a vulture.....somebody posts and I jump all over it. :rotfl2:

& V word makes me sick too.. .hate taking it but it does work... I don't get people who get stuck on that stuff... but I guess it affects people differently... :scared:

Vicodin works for me with no side effects at all (that I've noticed anyway). Only had one yesterday at bedtime because my back and hips were hurting from all the strange positions I'm in during the day. The surgery site isn't hurting at all...things appear to be healing well. :thumbsup2 Today I'm going to head out on a couple of short errands (maybe lunch with Peg) and hope to be able to do a half day of work tomorrow and Friday.

I'm sitting on the south bound #11 Lincoln Ave. bus, just passing Belmont and posting just because I can!

Did you look left and wave to Dianne?

Drinking Alcohol the Wrong Way

Where It’s Offensive: Latin America, France, Korea, Russia.
What’s Offensive: Every culture has different traditions when it comes to drinking etiquette. Fail to consume a vodka shot in one gulp in Russia, and your host will not be impressed. Refill your own wine glass in France without offering more to the rest of the table, and you’ve made a faux pas. In Korea, women can pour only men’s drinks — not other women’s — and if you want a refill, you need to drain your glass. And if you’re in Latin America, never pour with your left hand — that’s bad luck.
What You Should Do Instead: Until you’re culturally fluent, leave it to your pals to pour.

BORED, BORED, BORED, BORED, BORED. I need something to do. When I have time on my hands, I end up picking at the irritating people here because it's always fun to stir the pot and set off grumpy co-workers. :stir: I've picked at the know-it-all and the constant whiner, I can still go after the brown-noser and control freak. :rotfl2:

Well I've got a ton of inputting needed to be done and am swamped with reports and have to train some people today on call centre software. Wanna help me out?

Can you tell that I am procrastinating as I am on here instead of doing all my work?

HI KEN!! I'd love to help you if I could! ;)

4 hours down, 2 1/2 to go. :guilty:

I can actually eat lunch today since I have nothing else to do. ;) I just ordered a yummy veggie sub. Can't wait! :goodvibes

Wow, Tyler won't have to wear a coat tomorrow or Friday! :cool1: Of course his dad will make him bundle up in heavy winter coat and snowpants and hat and gloves. Hmmm.......I think we'll make a stop at home to drop off that heavy stuff and send him with a light jacket to avoid him getting overheated.

Looks like pretty soon we won't have to go through that pain in the butt routine of bundling up, then unbundling in the car, and bundling back up again to get out of the car, etc. That's what I hate most about winter!

Bizarre Laws Of Michigan
MICHIGAN

Michigan takes their rats seriously. You can collect a 10 cent
bounty on every rat you bring into a town office.

It is legal for a robber to file a law suit, if he or she is
injured in your house.

Any person over the age of 12 may have a license for a handgun
as long as he/she has not been convicted of a felony.

It is against the law to serenade your girlfriend in Kalamazoo.

In Pontiac, Michigan, it is illegal to drink soda in a bag of
any kind.

Michigan law prohibits chaining an alligator to a fire hydrant.

Couples are banned from making love in an automobile unless the
act takes place while the vehicle is parked on the couple's own
property.

It is illegal to paint sparrows to sell them as parakeets.

BIG BILL
TEXAS TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) - Got change for a grand? Banks don't
see many $1,000 bills because the U.S. Treasury stopped printing
them in 1945. So, an Alabama bank called the cops when an
18-year-old Michigan man tried to break a grand-note. Officers
busted him and two 15-year-old buddies. The Kalamazoo County,
Mich., sheriff's department charges the three stole a safe
containing antique money from one of the teen's parents. The
Kalamazoo Gazette and the Birmingham News report the three remain
in custody in Alabama pending their return to Michigan.

Snowing here right now. Had to scrape the windshield this morning.

Is winter ever going to end???

Sorry Ken......but I sure wish you could send it our way! It's been sunny a few days in a row, which is nice, but after all it hasn't snowed in a long time, nothing but dead brown grass all around, and I just want to go sledding and skiing one more time! I sort of don't think that will happen though.

well as much fun as this is talking to myself, I think it is time to hit the sack. Gotta get some dining ressies set tomorrow for when we are in DL!!!

That's great for your brother-in-law! In Ontario you'll be closer to Ian and Holly than you will be to us.

That would be good and so unlike Ian but he is welcome to it if he wants it for twitter :lmao: Hey, I'm thinking of changing my name on here. Would that erase my tag?

Isn't the only way to change it to create a new profile  and then I'd have more posts than you! :rotfl:

The strangest in thing is, these laws were created because somebody was doing that stuff. Can you imagine somone chaining an alligator to a fire hydrant?

Getting more excited for our trip. I was talking to Stephanie (Tay'sMom) last night on facebook and she might come over for our DisMeet. The more the merrier :goodvibes
