Some pics from today. Tyler really wanted this bedroom set. The bed alone would take up more than 1/2 his bedroom! But if I ever win the lotto, I'm going to buy the whole set, living room and bedroom!

And yes, the gun with him in every picture is the one we bought.

Wow everybody, I'm sorry for the ultra long post. I was just typing away like the wind and didn't even realize how long it was until I saw it posted! It turned out to be a great day though. It was super cold, but very sunny all day. Nice to see the sun! All the snow is gone, so there's yucky brown dead grass everywhere you look, so the sun helps it not be so ugly.

Will you stop apologizing? We are SO GLAD to hear good news about you and Tyler that we don't care how long the post is. You go girl!

I very rarely buy things for Tyler, because he has so much already, that getting 2 things for him today makes me feel like I spoiled him! But I guess I know better. I think he was pretty shocked too. He just kept laughing and looking at his things on the way home.

The car is pretty cool though. Just like Build-A-Bear comes home with you in a box with a handle that looks like a house, his car came home with us in a box with a handle that looks like a toolbox with flames on it. Very cool! So cool, in fact, that I want to make one next time! They had some really cute pink cars. I wanted one so much, but it was just too expensive for both of us to get one. Fortunately, Tyler was a bit frugal about it because they told us at the beginning that he could make it into a remote controlled car for $25 more. He said, "No way, that's a lot of money".

Bubba, those are ALL really cool! What a fun idea Nan had! I might have to pirate the idea when we go since Tyler's 7th birthday will be only just a week before we go!

OK, off to bed I go. Mondays are our crappy long days, work/school, straight to karate, straight to OT, home just in time to hurry and eat supper before Tyler falls asleep. We skipped OT a couple times and he's been taking a break from karate, so it hasn't been too bad, but tomorrow will be our first Monday back to doing it all. BUT, that's OK because once I make it through the day, I know the rest of the week will be smooth sailing.

Oh, one more thing....what was that site that many of you bought a bunch of pins from? (Nan, I think you're one who bought from it). Bethany sent Tyler 2 lanyards that have a card at the bottom that says "Pin Trading" and one has a pin on it that's Goofy in a green airplane and the other has a pin that's Chip & Dale in a yellow and blue airplane. I explained to him about pin trading and he freaked out because he doesn't want to lose any of his pins! So I told him we can buy a bunch before we go and find some he doesn't like too much for trading.

Holly- I am so glad you and Tyler had fun. Sorry you missed the show. I buy my pins of ebay from the same seller each time. I can PM you his/her name if you want. I actually may need to order some soon. I jokingly suggested we go to WDW for my sisters b-day in June, since I had a 40% off code. My parents are actually considering it! She mentioned a part with a huge blow up slide or obsticle course. I am terrified of those blow-up things (had a few bad experiences), and think WDW is a much better option.

Yup it is the green lanyards. Most people only trade with cast members but a few trade with other guest. I have a 2 times guest wanted a pin off my lanyard. One was little boy at DTD and he liked my monorail pin and was trying to collect all the colors. I traded it as I was trading it anyway. Another time a guy asked me for a goofy pin and I don't collect Goofy so said ok. People may ask but he can say NO and CMs can't ask for a certain pin or not trade (unless they have the pin on their lanyard already.)
