Holly, Here's a little good news/bad news to fill up some more time for you.

Good news - you're day is 3/4 over already!
Bad news - my day isn't even half over yet!

Tyler asked me if "those little guys people try to catch on St. Patrick's Day" are real. ;) I told him "of course leprechauns are real, don't you remember what they did to us last year?" Then he remembered and was telling me all the crazy stuff that happened. I don't remember it all, but those darned leprechauns hid gold coins all over the house (chocolate foil-wrapped coins) and we kept coming across more for days! They turned the water in our toilet green (Tyler now thinks they just pee green), put a bunch of stuff upside down and move things to strange places, etc. Hmmm.......I'd better start thinking of what those crazy guys can do this year! :goodvibes

Sorry!

I sure do love my 3 short days, but HATE making up for it the other 2 days.

I never thought of doing something that creative for St Patrick's day. That's cool.:thumbsup2

Now I must get some work down. Bye Holly :goodvibes

Tyler's a bit nervous. He hasn't been to karate in over a month because he took a break and wasn't sure if he wanted to quit or not. He's still not sure, but is ready to start going to class again. I told the owner this all started because of jumping jacks. He hates doing them because they just take more coordination than he can handle. So he assured Tyler that there are NO jumping jacks this term, they're being replaced with punches for a warm-up! :thumbsup2

Bye Shannon! :goodvibes

Well, I stole the idea from Nan. I actually do extra stuff every holiday/occasion though. My mom didn't really celebrate holidays (we very rarely even had a Christmas tree), so I want to make sure Tyler gets all the fun that I missed (plus I get to have the fun that I missed too!). Plus, I know he'll soon reach the point where he thinks that stuff is stupid. :sad1:

Oh yeah, I just remembered, we also took stuff to his friend's house and made leprechaun magic wands and leprechaun pudding!

Hmmmm......maybe we can make green sugar cookies (even better if I get a shamrock cookie cutter) and he can take them to school to share. :thumbsup2

Oh my gosh, somebody gave me a dictated tape to do! Woohoo!!!! :rotfl2: I actually have some work! :goodvibes

Well, that wasn't enough to keep me busy for long! :rotfl2:

To any of you who might, as part of your job, dictate tapes for somebody else to type, a word of advice. DO NOT dictate while working out on your eliptical trainer. It's quite disturbing to have to listen to a boss's heavy breathing. :rotfl2:

Have you done green scrambled eggs for breakfast?

An interesting quote was in an e-mail I received today:

"God doesn't give you the people you want, He gives you the people you NEED - To help you, to hurt you, to leave you, to love you and to make you into the person you were meant to be."

Makes sense to me! :thumbsup2

Well, a few lawyers are just starting to roll in, so I'm off to gossip with them a bit and then head out of here! Back later after I drop Tyler off. :goodvibes

Snowing here right now. Had to scrape the windshield this morning.

Is winter ever going to end???

Aye, same here, but light snowing last night and this morning it was ice on pavement...

Today, it was lovely day..:confused3

Here is Molly (of course) as Granny and her friend Lydon (the Wolf) they went to elementary school together so it's kinda special to have them in these "opposing" parts tonight :-)

They're doing "Into the Woods," aren't they? I wish I could see the production. It's one of my favorite musicals.

I'm sitting on the south bound #11 Lincoln Ave. bus, just passing Belmont and posting just because I can!

:cool2: :cool2: :cool2: :cool2: :cool2:

BORED, BORED, BORED, BORED, BORED. I need something to do. When I have time on my hands, I end up picking at the irritating people here because it's always fun to stir the pot and set off grumpy co-workers. :stir: I've picked at the know-it-all and the constant whiner, I can still go after the brown-noser and control freak. :rotfl2:

Remind me to stay away from you when you're bored...

:thumbsup2 That is one big bottle. I hope you leave most of the champagne in there.

we'll have you pickled in champagne, my dear...

Drinking Alcohol the Wrong Way

Where It’s Offensive: Latin America, France, Korea, Russia.
What’s Offensive: Every culture has different traditions when it comes to drinking etiquette. Fail to consume a vodka shot in one gulp in Russia, and your host will not be impressed. Refill your own wine glass in France without offering more to the rest of the table, and you’ve made a faux pas. In Korea, women can pour only men’s drinks — not other women’s — and if you want a refill, you need to drain your glass. And if you’re in Latin America, never pour with your left hand — that’s bad luck.
What You Should Do Instead: Until you’re culturally fluent, leave it to your pals to pour.

O think you should just suck it right out of the bottle...

Ssshhhh I won't tell my wife if you don't ... :rolleyes1 :cool2:

Your secret is mine... ;)

Well I've got a ton of inputting needed to be done and am swamped with reports and have to train some people today on call centre software. Wanna help me out?

Can you tell that I am procrastinating as I am on here instead of doing all my work?

I get $14 an hour to temp... in American $$$ - but Holly's not busy...

The day you leave for DL... :cloud9: :cloud9:

Oh, and.......
HI SHANNON!! :goodvibes
