I'm hoping for a good deal for Universal.

I started looking at ticket prices for Universal last night. We're thinking about going there on this trip. We haven't been since we took Sukie's son down there about 12 years ago.

I'm trying to figure out the best deal on tickets. I might call Costco today.

We'll be dropping a healthy chunk of change on our Annual Passes. On the plus side, because of DVC we get the Florida resident rate, so we save $100 each on those, but it's still nearly $600 for both of us. However, because we will have 2 trips this year, it makes it worth it.

Unfortunately, we do not get the $99 AP rate for Universal.

I also have to look at our week. I need to allow time for me to do my Mouse Manager menu thing. So that's where we drive to every resort (or if Sukie is cranky, I drive to every resort) and pick up menus or photograph menus for counter service.

I can honestly say, I have visited EVERY restaurant on property with the exceptions of Wide World or Sports and Shades of Green.

But I'm thinking a day or two at Universal might be a nice change of pace.

We're wanting to have something different on this trip.

Soooo... I see you're all as quiet as church mice early on Sunday mornings! What's the matter? You North Americans not up yet?

I'm about to leave for my WW meetings.

Sukie told me last night that his hip was hurting a bit, which was where I ran into him. However, he said it was not hurting as much as when he fell down on our postage stamp sized patio.

(Note to self - You must accelerate more next time backing out of the garage)

So I felt guilty all night. I mean he already uses a cane.

Actually, since he had his nasal surgery, he uses the cane much less. We think that the whole condition had been impacting his balance.

Well, I'm off to expound to my 3 meeting how their lives will be so much improved through the effective use of liquids. I can't wait.

(Some meeting topics I find difficult to talk about.)

I think when I lived in LaSalle/Peru we had People's Gas. Also I worked at People's hospital.......maybe run by the same people ?:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: Connie, you crack me up!

OMG I am so mad I just have to vent....and vent.....and probably vent some more. John is so selfish. Every freaking day he makes sure he has some time for himself. Even on Thursday, so he didn't miss working out he brought the girls to me at work at 4pm. Tonight, I have been home all day while he is working (which, with these two girls, working is sometimes a vacation) he comes home and it is the fantasy football party - I want to go to dinner, his compromise was let's go haev a few and then go to dinner.....NO I didn't want to go. So he went. and thinks we will go out to dinner around 9 when he gets home.

I am so frustated. I take and pick up the girls...he never offers, I have to beg him to do it. Next week softball starts and I said look I need me time, so he offered to pick them up T and T when he will then turn around and play softball so he can still work out m and f and close w....gee way to make it to his advantage.

sorry. I am just over it.

Oh V, I am so sorry for you. You guys need some help. You have a beautiful family and this is a real rough patch right now. Most of us have been in your shoes and this is one of the hardest times to get through.

One resourse I know, though it is Christian based you donot need to go to church or even be a Christian to use it, is Stephen's Ministry. There is no charge and it has helped so many of my friends. I highly recommend it and at first it can be just you getting resourses.

Please feel free to vent here all you want....again most of us have been in your shoes.....I do not know how you do as much as you do. You totally amaze me!! :upsidedow :upsidedow :upsidedow

I've been TV shopping as well. Mom wants my "regular" TV from my computer room because it has DVD and VHS built in. She got a Sylvania 32" Flat screen with DVD player at BJ's wholesale for $460. It's nice. Now I need to shop for a tv to replace the one in my computer room. Not sure what I want. I would like a 1080 resolution. the one mom got is 720 resolution. I am learning.....

Yup, I've been learning all that stuff too because I've been looking and comparing for quite a while. :thumbsup2 I'm just patiently waiting for the right sale. Target had some really nice ones on sale, a 42-inch was a great price, Sony I think, but the sale ended yesterday and I've still not fully decided. I'll know it when I see it. Sales come and go, more sales will be going on somewhere every week. I'm in no hurry, just waiting for the right one to jump out at me and say, "Take me, I'm yours!" :goodvibes

I graduated with 2000 people so I don't remember anyone. A girl just found me on facebook that was on my cheer squad and I didn't remember her. It was funny because she found me to tell me that she lost a lot of weight. I told her I gained it all :rotfl2:

Wow, my whole school didn't even have 2000 people! My graduating class was 126.

So are you dating now?

No, I didn't even contact him or accept his friend request yet. Haven't been on Facebook for a really long time, I just saw the request when it came to my yahoo email. His sister emailed me a picture of him a while back, so that's how I found out he turned out cute.

At least Tyler knew to move away from the noise for a while. He obviously enjoyed it enough to want to go back. The sensory issue is a strang thing to us as we just can't imagine what the poor boy experiences.
Yup. At least now I've learned to understand a bit, but a couple of years ago, I would have been irritated and frustrated if he'd asked to take a break. But now I just accept that some things are rough for him and I'll never fully know when or why, but just have to accept that he realizes what situations are tough and go with the flow. :thumbsup2

Lisa, I'm going to share that with a friend of mine too. She's having similar issues and doesn't know what to do, but wants to somehow get things worked out. I feel awful because I just don't know what to tell her, so perhaps she'll find this link useful too. :thumbsup2

Oh.....she was sooooooo young!

Well, since we had a late night last night, we slept through church and are still in our pajamas. 1/2 of the living room floor is covered in Legos and pirate parts & accessories, etc. because we're having another pirate day. I've been reading and posting here while Tyler continues playing with the pirate Lego stuff and we're watching Karate Kid at the same time.

It's about time for lunch, then we're going to head out and look for some new camouflage winter boots for Tyler. I hate when his feet grow in the middle of winter because the boots are usually off the shelves in stores by now. :headache:

Then, we're going sledding!!!! Well, maybe....depends on how slushy the snow gets. It's already 36F, so things will be starting to melt, but there's no way the amount of snow that we have here will all melt in one day, so we should be fine.

Awww......so cute! :goodvibes OK, I'll jump on this bandwagon, but will have to wait until I get to work tomorrow to scan one (if I can find one). Mine looks funny because I never wear makeup, never did, except my mom made me wear it for my senior picture. It's SOOOOOOO not me! :rotfl2:

OK, Tyler's getting weird on me. He's playing with pirate Legos, then just sits up and turns around behind him and stares for a few seconds. The he looks at me and says, "Mom, I just felt something go by me." I asked him "How can you feel something go by yo?" He told me he saw a dark shadow go past from the living room into the kitchen. I told him he's full of bologna! :rotfl2: Crazy kid.

OK, off to fix lunch!

The photographer who did all the senior portraits took the liberty to "enhance' the photos. The eyelashes here are definately augmented as well as the pink blush. The eyeliner however was all my big sister's doing!
