very funny! in fact i`ll have a whole NEW batch of pictures to use for next year's cards...and i might even get them out on time! unless i win another cruise this year. ;-)

If you DO win...you will have to take about 30 of your closest dis friends with you... how many can sleep in that stateroom???

well this week has turned out quite differently than i thought it would. i imagined i was going to have all this time to myself. in reality i've been on the go the whole time. in addition to being substitute nanny i've been taking the regular nanny to her dr. appointments since she can't drive. but it's the early (by MY standards) mornings that are about to do me in! this 6:30 a.m. stuff is NOT compatable with my night owl ways!

6:30??? That's been my bedtime lately... I couldn't take her either...

I'm having a horrible day. Ethan has had an attitude all day and is apparently starving to death. Brooke has been crying because she can't go to her friend's party. I volunteered in Brooke's class today and did about two hours of copying and making books and then when I went to drop it off for her she had two hours more work for me to do. This is the new teacher because her teacher had her baby. She doesn't know how to do anything. The first grade teachers usually all work together so that the volunteers are only doing one project but for all three first grade classes. She refuses to do it this way and for some reason it seems like a lot more for me. Anyway, now I'm cooking and I have to go to Boy Scouts but there is nothing inside me that wants to do that right now.

So, Ken is away?

No wonder we haven't heard the pitter patter of his little feet around here.

Ken works in Prince George every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Instead of commuting up every day he drives up (73 miles) on Tuesday and spends the next few nights at relative's houses. Thursday night he tends to drive home.

However, this week he is up in Prince George for an Economic Summit being put on by the Provincial Government. So he gets to hob knob with the political powers that be and some industry leaders instead of getting to come home.

Then on Friday night, Shannon and the girls will be joining him in Prince George to go to a Robbie Burns Dinner. On Saturday he will be returning home so he can rip out carpeting while Shannon and the girls go swimming.

Then you will get the pitter patter of his little feet back.

The ship in the back is the type I'm thinking of taking Mom on to see Alaska this summer...

But it's the ship in the FRONT that I wish I was going on...

If you go to Alaska and IF the ship stops in Prince Rupert BC, let me know. We might take the 7 hour drive to come see you. (some ships stop there and some don't). If it stops in Vancouver, BC let us know. We might take the 7 hour drive to come see you there.

Wii topic...our Stars Wars Lego game had some scratches on it, so we returned it for another, but no luck they only had the one copy. So we exchanged it for Batman...tonight we will be wiing on that game. I'll let y anow Ken how we like it on wii. I'm just so puny, huh?

I have the Star Wars lego for the PC. It was a riot. So much so I am thinking of buying it for the Wii. Keep me informed on Batman. (I really should dig out my Batman comic books and show them to Shaelyn).

I have the Star Wars lego for the PC. It was a riot. So much so I am thinking of buying it for the Wii. Keep me informed on Batman. (I really should dig out my Batman comic books and show them to Shaelyn).

Batman is fun so far. I did like Indy better, but I like Indy movies better so that makes sense. I think I'd like Star Wars too.

I figure it's better to rent then (with a free Blockbuster coupon) than buy them, since Willie and plow thru the games really quickly.

I've been hanging out here, but am now headed to bed. My head has been pounding all day. Super tired, and there are so many piles of work on my desk already, tomorrow's going to be a rough day. BUT.....it will go by fast because I have so much work to do. Then I'm going to bingo with a couple friends.
