Oh I love to paint.....have fun!

I HATE painting.

I'd fly you to Chicago if you want to paint.

Then again, our house was built in 1913, one never knows what will happen when a new "task" is undertaken.

I just realized that our house is going to be 100 years old in 4 years.

That girl is just too adorable for words!

Who could she be?

Ian and I went over to in law for dinner then said goodbye to our brother in law... He is going away to Canada on Wednesday for a year... He got an interveiw on Thursday for IT... Hopeful he get it...

I think mother in law a bit upset tonight...

As you all can probably tell, I'm back from my Sunday morning work.

I was very pleased because my attendance numbers are really up. I had about 100 paid members between the 3 meetings.

I guess this means we can go on vacation this year, PLUS Sukie will get to eat while he's on vacation. I won't have to have him steal scraps from other tables.

I also lost 1.6 pounds, which put me in a really good mood.

In addition, some members returned that I have not seen since early December. They are members who I really liked, so it made the meeting fun. (Not that there are members who I don't like, I like all of my members ... to varying degrees).

It is a balmy 19F here in Chicago, or put another way, 36 degrees higher than it was on Friday.

I think we may go to Costco, just to get out of the house. I'm just a little gun shy since the accident last Saturday and the near accident last Sunday.

Life is so sad. We are resorting to shopping for toilet paper and razor blades for entertainment.

I suppose it could always be worse. I could be wasting my life away hanging out on a DIS tread ... Oh wait. I already do that.

And why don't any of you have Playstation 3? I am forced to playing games with complete strangers, and you know how I don't like strangers.

Wow, two invitations in one week ;)

Our house was built in 1954 and we have the same problem. It was nice to discover the hard wood under the carpet, even though we have only refurbished two rooms.

I know you have to be nice but I hate the people that raise their hands and talk for everything even if it doesn't involve weight loss.

And I think it's safe to say that most of our lives our sad if sad means the amount of time spent on the DIS boards ;)

Jon wants one but he is satisfied with #2 until they stop making games ;) Which is weird because he is usually the guy waiting in line at the store when they come out. I guess we have other priorities

I can imagine she is. Did she not have a bereavement recently too.

I was just the holding bin...all of her good parts came from her father :rotfl:

Not true!!!

I'll ask Paul again, but he keeps telling me no HARDWARE, only SOFTWARE. And I asked about that cool video camera and NOPE...not the right part of SONY, he is in the Gaming company...

I'm not going to touch this one.

Good, because you are being mean to me these days, I'd hate to see what I'd get for a comment on that one :sad2:

Okay, we are off to see my Great Niece Sophia who is celebrating her 1st birthday.

Catch ya later :wave2:

Because I didn't like the way Sony dealt with (or rather didn't) the Blue Disc errors with the PS2, so I've sworn off them for awhile.

And Because SOMEONE who doesn't like to play with strangers talked us into getting a Wii!!!

Still no TV. We won't have any TV until February 7th, so basically we will have gone a month without television, other than a few things we already had on the Tivo and DVDs.

Wow... that's like staying at my brothers house... May I suggest an old fashioned set of Rabbit ears with some tin foil on them??? At least you might get PBS... :confused3

Why in the world am I so damn chatty this morning?

(OK, gotta I've got to leave for work now!)

Coffee????? :hyper: :hyper: :hyper: :hyper: :hyper: :hyper:

Well football game is on (The battle of the birds: Eagles vs. Cardinals). So I have now ditched Shannon on the painting.

We did finish up the last of the priming and I believe she is starting in on one of the walls. I'll get back up there and help her out at halftime.

We walked to lunch and to the movies yesterday. We saw bedtime stories. We didn't know it was rated PG-13 :scared: I was worried but we saw it anyway. I'm not really sure why it was rated PG-13. There wasn't even sexual overtones in my opinion. Not much bad language either. It was words the kids have heard before on TV. We had fun and got some exercise.

I'm thinking your theater had the rating wrong - both imdb and yahoo have it listed as PG. My sister and niece enjoyed it too. I thought the guinea pig looked cute in the commercials - we are waiting for DVD to see it. Or out October cruise since it's a disney movie :thumbsup2

We had a toddler and at least 3 children in the 6-8 yr range at the showing of My Bloody Valentine in 3-D yesterday :scared1:
The toddler was obviously understanding enough that during 2 particular gory scenes he started screaming and crying - and after only a 4 or 5 minutes  his parents removed him from the theater. They did leave for good the 2nd time.

Oh and the movie was great - the 3-D was awesome. I hadn't seen a 3-D movie in the theater since the 80's. Greatly improved since then.

I can hardly wait :hyper: to see what color you have chosen for this room! :yay:

I missed the last few pages of the last thread but I know there were some meets being discussed.

We don't know our plans yet but we may be PA the first weekend in May. So please plan meets and if we're available (and restaurant can still fit us in) we will definitely come but if not I don't want to hold anyone up with making reservations, etc.

It will depend on a conference Darrell might be going to - work related. If he doesn't go we're going to PA the last full week of April - if he does go then it will be the last weekend of April thru the first weekend in May.

Oh - and we will definitely by at WDW on May 20th for the day - my birthday.
