Good news about Olivia.

Where in Canada is your Brother in law - I know it is back east somewhere, but do you know where exactly? Sometimes the East can get much colder than I do - sometimes that is.

And just so people don't think it is the entire province that is this temp, in Vancouver (home of the 2010 Winter Olympics) it is only -1C (30F). So if you come for the Olympics it won't be as bad as it is up here where I live.

Vancouver is like in its own little eco system compared to the rest of the province.

More good news on the weather front, got the pipes unfrozen.

Still gotta do the dump run though ...

Toronto - one half hour travel from the City...

so how far from your country?

Sorry as mother in law was upset yesterday so I cannot ask her lot of question.. I just gave her a time...

I told her that she and father in law should go to Canada for summer holiday... she said she would like to and want see New York too..

She wait until Jon (brother in law) settle down first then they will go over..

Would be nice for us to go over there for holiday but hope he stay there for a while

Ian and Sukie, you arrived direct to our Mii Plaza. How come you arrived there and Ken and co in the Parade?

Toronto is on the other side of the country from me. Approximately 4294 kms away.

Just as a bit of an example of the distance, Anaheim is closer to Florida than I am to Toronto. Anaheim is 4013 km to Orlando.

Or rather roughly twice the distance as going from Madrid Spain to Berlin Germany.

And Toronto isn't even the far side of Canada!! That's still another 1500kms away!

We have Mii's in the Wii Parade. In the parade they just travel around. Pretty much everytime I go there, there are different Mii's in it.

Woohoo It has warmed up here! It is now -23C(-9F).

Gaylean if you think you are cold there at 53F - subtract another 60 degrees! Are you still wearing shorts? Seems like good temp to go and ride Splash Mountain!

Your info was on the list (and I registered you and Bubba on ours) and the e-mail address he sent the stuff to was bubba's at verizon. I didn't see your specific name on the e-mail list... LOL I was on the list twice and Shannon was on the list once so Ian made sure we got the info!

I used the send Mii feature, which is why I think we finally dropped into your plaza.

I am going to be leaving work shortly.

I think that today, given how I am feeling, I'll be taking the El home instead of commuter rail.

The El station is about 1.5 blocks from my house, but the ride to get home takes about 45 minutes. The ride on commuter rail takes 7 minutes, but the station is about 4/5 miles away from my house.

Given how I feel, perhaps the 4/5 mile walk in 16F weather might not be the prudent thing to do.

Has anybody tried Animal Crossing: City Folk for the Wii yet with the WiiSpeak?

I'm curious as to how it all works - are you able to get a group conversation on it or is it just limited to one Wii to one Wii?

Well...you're not going to believe the night I've had...

I ended up going to the Dr. to find out I had an infection (female problems... sorry bubba...) had to run all over to get my Rx's and then stop at the store, got home and mom was fixing dinner - I took my meds and we ate and I came back upstairs because MY meds were starting to kick in and I wanted to lay low until the effects passed... all of a sudden I hear my mom SCREAM from downstairs.. I dropped everything and ran - it seems the dizzy spells came back but this time they were accompanied by a flush of heat - she even turned bright red. I found her holding on to the sink in the kitchen almost fainting... she got sick, then broke out in a sweat and fell to the floor just as I caught her. In a couple of minutes she was ok - still shakey...but ok. I got her up and rested on the couch... and everything calmed down. I guess the problems with her ears are back. I am calling the Dr. in the AM...

I told her that I'm getting her a personalized life alert thingy if this keeps up...

Wow! I hope your mom's OK and I hope you're able to get an appointment soon. Sorry about your infection too, hope that goes away quickly. Good grief, you're both a mess!
