We don't drink any SODA (that is why it is so cool)......it all comes out of trash cans and recycled bins...( and many here have pm'ed codes!!)

Surround Sound for Daniel's apartment.

My 14 year old used to be MORTIFIED that I took caps out of the trash. When I first started (last Thanksgiving) one of my best friends handed Annie a 10 dollar bill and said "I saw your mom digging in the trash can at the grocery store....don't tell her I gave you this money "

It took Annie about 10 minutes to figure out she had been tricked!!

Thanks to Cheri and Michelle and anyone else who thought about posting or did post the Centennial Bridge photo from Shutters. I downloaded it and got it in the letter about the cruise that I am sending to some friends.

I am reading the pages I opened yesterday at Starbucks but have to use the Raspberry to post.

Monica: I plan to reread your report as soon as I can get to Starbucks.again or we get the needed connection box from ATT--tomorrow would be nice!

At 6 pm we will be watching a neighborhood parade of kids and pets with decorated bikes and wagons that took more time to decorate than the one block long parade will take to watch.

Then we take our store-bought brownies which are nicely packed in my Tupperware box to a neighborhood picnic.

Later we will watch the city of Indianapolis fireworks from the roof top deck.

They did.....on the first night around 11pm. I have pics and I think Jan did too. I don't have this computer right now but the others were better. It was really dark so all you could see was the lights on the stacks.

Yes I did. They are blurry as both ships were going pretty fast, but they are fun pictures to see and notice what is lit and what is not.

I have made a note to post them the next time my laptop is connected to the internet.

I do not like being "timed out" like this.

K - OMG Weekie Wachee!! I haven't been there in years...also Buccaneer Bay used to be two slides and a rope swing! A cool place to visit...it would be a drive from here about 2 hours...It's in Spring Hill.

It's a beautiful day here too! Not a single cloud, and the sky is a strange blue that I've never seen before. It's sort of dark blue and bright blue at the same time. Hard to explain, but beautiful! Perfect weather is predicted for a few days, and the temps are not supposed to get above 77. Not too hot, but warm enough for all summer activities. Perfect! I hope Tyler's dad & stepmom took him to the parade this morning because they never have. It was raining when I took him last year, so this year would be much better.

We went over 10,000 Coke rewards yesterday!! We videoed it and since so many of you have sent us rewards....I thought you might like to see this!!

Yep...I'm just getting sound too. First time I opened it there was a message that Quicken didn't have the application needed....second time just the original picture stayed on the screen....third time screen was just white. I wasn't even given the option/opportunity to download an update stuff to be able to see it.

Yes I think we were the only ones up and about. The rest were just lying in bed and enjoying not going to work I guess.

Well, there's a big thunderstorm all around my area, but right where I live, it's not raining. I can hear thunder all around me. Pretty soon I'm going over to a friend of a friend's to hang out and watch fireworks, IF they happen. It looks like it's really raining hard in that part of town.

I got a call from a friend this morning. Her husband passed away in Feb., about 6 weeks after being diagnosed with lung cancer. She's moving into town (they had a nice place out in the pines, but she feels too isolated out there now) and I ended up spending a few hours helping her and another friend bring some things in to her new place. Then when I got home, since I was already hot and sweaty, I cleaned off my front porch and driveway with the power blower, shop vac and hose. I was so hot I ended up spraying myself all over with the hose when I was done. I started out just washing my feet off, but then I couldn't stop! It felt great!

I can hear the big booms of the fireworks downtown. We're only a mile from downtown, so it's quite loud. Seems a bit early because it's not all the way dark yet, but I guess it's dark enough. I'm just glad I got home before streets were blocked off for fireworks.

I read over on another thread that when final payment came up for the 8/17 repo... over 60 cabins opened up... lots of people said it was the economy...

Yup, the fireworks went off just fine here. Our last storm was Wednesday afternoon and it's been dry ever since. Sorry about your rain, but it's good they were able to get the fireworks off before the rain.

Oh my.....tried to go to bed, but that's not possible with the non-stop boom, boom, pop, crack, screeching, etc. of people doing their own fireworks. It's been nonstop since the city ones ended, and sounds just like a machine gun that's been going nonstop for almost an hour. I love it....it's the sound of tons of folks having fun at the same time!

I think tomorrow I'm going to take Tyler to a baseball game. It's another fireworks game (almost every Fri & Sat home game in the summer has fireworks afterwards). Since we got rained out last time I had planned on taking him, we'll give tomorrow a shot. It's supposed to be perfect weather, so that's perfect!

Cherie - Happy Dance was great! I just watched it with my girls and we all liked it. They kept asking me who everybody was!

Its supposed to be a crappy rainy weekend here, so may actually get some work done inside the house tomorrow. Tonight its just kick back and relax while football's on TV.
