Zootopia II

I heard that there will be a Zootopia II debuting in 2025 and i'm curious to know if anybody has heard about it? Will Jason Bateman return as the voice of Nick Wilde and who will replace Tom Lister Jr. as Finnick in this movie? Also what's Zootopia II going to be about this time? It is surprising that there is gonna be Zootopia II considering Zootopia was really popular and I'm curious to see how good it will be in 2025

I think with Zootopia II we will see a more sitcom-like style of movie because Zootopia was a detective/mystery movie but with Zootopia II we will see a comedy side to it. I think why Zootopia even became a hit was because of Jason Bateman and when you put Jason Bateman in any sitcom or movie it's a hit. And I think Jason Bateman got the role of Nick Wilde was because the role of Nick was tailor-made for him and Disney probably based Nick Wilde on Jason Bateman when they cast him to do Nick Wilde's voice and Zootopia II will most likely be a hit in theaters due to Jason Bateman. I wonder who will voice Finnick in Zootopia II because Finnick's original voice actor Tom Lister Jr. passed away? But I do hope Gazelle returns as well as Leodore Lionheart in Zootopia II

It's going to be like the first one, a detective/mystery. Also, just because a movie has a certain actor in it does not make it a hit. We'll see when it comes out how well it's received and if there's any competition, since it'll be Thanksgiving week.

What new characters will make their debut in Zootopia II? Also will characters such as Mr. Big Emmett Otterton and Flash return? I wonder if Shakira will perform the theme song of Zootopia II as well? Because I couldn't figure out how Disney got Shakira to perform both the voice of Gazelle and sing Try Everything for Zootopia because Shakira really did an awesome job in Zootopia and I hope she returns for Zootopia II

Disney pays scale for the voice actors (it's the acting version of minimum wage). Big name celebrities that agree to voice a character are most likely doing it because it's a bucket list item (they are Disney fans and think it would be fun/it's a lifelong dream to voice a character in a Disney animated movie). Another reason is they have children, young cousins, nieces, nephews, or some other type of younger relative in their life and they want to make a kid friendly movie their younger relative can see right when it's released.

I think when Zootopia II opens in theaters Thanksgiving 2025 it will break a record for Disney and also it is bound to have competition with Wicked For Good also opening on Thanksgiving. But in my eyes I think people will expect Zootopia II to be just as good as the first Zootopia movie
