I agree completely. I love email and blogging, but nothing beats the personal one on one on the phone if you can't see your friends or family in person!

I am watching National Treasure right now (the first one) and a thought hit me. How come in all of these modern (not Indy) treasure seeker movies no one ever carries a digital camera to document their findings?

Digital cameras are pretty common place these days yet no one ever seems to carry one.

Just a random thought that hit me that I thought I'd share.

Well,....they HAD a digital camera when they left home, BUT, the first time they fell into some water, they got it wet and RUINED it..... like I ruined Tom' cell phone and a digital camera....

That's how I know, WE treasure hunters are all alike...

AH ha, here we say "jinx you owe me a coke" and my kids add you have to say the name of the person 3 times before they can talk again. So in our case I have to be quiet until you say NAN NAN NAN...and you know that isn't gonna happen

I have to catch up here and on Facebook, but wanted to drop a post in first. Prayers and good luck wishes needed please. I called and left an urgent message with the psychiatrist saying we can't wait until the end of July for our final 2 visits because of a horrifying incident at school today that Tyler caused (which I described to the Dr.). So, prayers please that the Dr. will understand the urgency and will create an appointment for him right away, before more kids get hurt. Thank you. I have no idea what to say to the other parent if/when they confront me.

I guess I forgot that part. On the far edges of the playground he found a piece of broken mirror from a makeup compact, picked it up, grabbed the arm of the first child he came to, and cut him on the inside of his arm from the wrist almost up to the elbow. When Tyler was taken to a time out, he got very aggressive with the teachers, one had to almost sit on his legs to stop him from kicking her, and he was telling another one that he was going to murder her and her whole family.

As I said, horrifying. It's so impulsive when he does these things, nothing triggers him, nobody was even around him every incident, he just goes up to somebody and does stuff. But later, he was so worried about the boy, telling him he's so sorry he hurt him and asking if his arm is OK. His punishment at school was to miss his favorite activity, swimming, and after school I kept him from karate class.

Anyway, that's the story.
