On the 4th we will be at the pool. Cook out that evening and then watch fireworks. Our house is on a high hill or a low mountain so we can see about a dozen different firework displays at the same time from our deck. They're not close like being at WDW but it's nice not to have to fight crowds.

You know, later in the cruise, when I finally was able to call home, I asked my brother in law what he wanted as a present and he said "Something with a lizard on it!" I came this close to bringing him one of these! Edited to add: He got a DCL baseball cap.

HAPPY CANADA DAY!

So what are all of your 4th of July plans (I mean our US friends. I know Canada Day is coming up, well for you UK people, I suppose you're going to think twice before you increase the tax on tea).

Seriously, what plans are afoot?

We are doing nothing. I think we're going to see Wall*E on Friday night and on Saturday we're going to the zoo.

It's also time for me to put gas in Mrs. Fezziwig. She only has 1 gallon left. The last time I put gas in her was around May 5th.

No real 4th of July plans though, no cookouts or picnics planned. I'm just looking forward to a nice, relaxing long weekend.

Kind of the same thing here...just relaxing and probably seeing Wall-E also.

Are you going to MY ZOO? I lived near Lincoln Park Zoo when I was at 196something N. Lincoln. Hung out there a lot and visited Mike the polar bear often. OR, are you going to the big zoo in Brookfield?

Thinking about that general neighborhood made me remember two of my favorite places, MelMarkons (they had really good fried chicken) and The WiseFools Pub. ahhhhhhh......flashbacks........

On the 4th we will be in our motorhome heading to Missoula. We will spend the night of the 4th with our good friends in Couer D'Alene, ID. Then Saturday morning on over the pass into Montana. It should be beautiful there this time of year. I talked with a realtor yesterday and she will have some houses for us to look at the week we are there. Hope the home inspection goes ok today. We are holding our breath, this is the last hurdle.

Tyler only lost his first two, and that was more than a year ago, just before he turned 5. So now I'm thinking he'll probably lose a ton all at once to make up for lost time. None even seem loose, so it will be a while.

If he just turned five I wouldn't worry because Ethan was seven before he lost his first tooth. Brooke will be six in August and she has lost more teeth than him and he is eight. I asked the dentist and he said he has strong gums. I guess that part is good BUT there has been a few times that the new tooth has come completely in before the baby tooth even gets loose. It is gross.

Wow, I was going to ask what the heck is a Twoonie. I'd never heard that before. Loonie, twoonie, at first I thought it was some sort of play money (Looney Tunes themed), but then I realized it must be real money because what kid would want fake money from the tooth fairy! Don't mind me, just another non-blonde, blonde moment.

I'm not sure how I got $2.00. After he said Loonie I started pronouncing twoonie right. Before that I looked at it and it looked like two nie. I guess that's how I got $2.00

YEAH.....me and John are going to our place of retirement......we still have to wait another 3 years before we can live there so we're visiting this fourth of July weekend and then we can do fireworks on the beach. We're staying in Seaford, near the land in Laurel. We'll visit the beach in Bethany. John will play with his GPS who he named Gabby. We love it there. Delaware here we come......Lower, Slower Delaware......a perfect place to grow old near the sea.
