Well, the Dibb is a uk Disney board I am a member at and where I heard about the oceangram. EMC is an Aussie site - nothing to do with Disney, not sure what it is actually. Because the 2 sites were always on those oceangrams, they started answering each other. Now some of the EMC folk are on the Dibb thread about the oceangram and it has got quite chummy. They are also talking about the Dibb on the EMC board.
I see! Makes sense now. :thumbsup2 I spent tons of time last night reading and adding comments to different messages, even started one myself to track. You got me hooked! ;)

We got an offer on the house yesterday that we accepted ::yes:: with just a couple of minor changes in our counter offer that do not involve money, so they likely will accept it. WOO HOO!!! :woohoo: Now the troubles....we would have to be out of the house in 3 1/2 weeks and one of those weeks we are traveling to MT and ID. Oh my!! Time to get those closets cleaned out and packed up I think! So, that means I can retire in 5 weeks and 2 days!!! :hyper: :cool1:  :woohoo:

Congrats!!! Guess the rest of us have to get busy clearing a spot for the RV now ...

Angie!!! That is GREAT news!!! WOOHOO!!

So, I was too busy sobbing last night while watching PS I Love You, so I am 15 pages behind :(

Did see a few cake pics, great job Shannon...I am a no talent kind of girl but always have great looking cakes due to Safeway:lmao: Wish I could make things like that, but it never works.

4th of July plans...unfortunately, I will be spending the weekend with the dreaded IL's. The whole family will be there in a 500 sq foot cabin with 2 BR (there will be 11 people). YUCK And, the worst part....NO INTERNET to rescue me. Hmm, maybe I should keep that blackberry so I can stay in touch and avoid people:goodvibes

Have to let you know that I called my sister's house tonight....going through withdrawls already (hehehehe). Ian was at his dad's but Lisa put the phone next to Sydney's ear and I got to talk to her. I was sung to ("e i e i o") and she blew me kisses. My sister also said that she got a big smile on her face when I first started talking to her (and you all know that my heart melted).
:goodvibes Monica, I bet your visit with them went way to quickly  I had Serenity sleep here over night on Sunday , but she had to go home Monday night. I'm missing her too!

Yipee:yay: :dance3: :thumbsup2 I'm so happy for you! This is exciting news for you!

Well, how on earth did you guys finish one thread and get 60+ pages on this one...oh wait...this is normal isn't it :rotfl2: Hope everyone is keeping well. I was, until today. I woke up with a terribly sore throat and headache. I was one of the lucky ones who didn't get sick on the cruise or immediately following, so guess it's my turn. But darn, it's my day off and I had so much I wanted to accomplish. I've cancelled my dentist appt (actually didn't mind doing that;) ) and my hair appt. I was hoping to maybe see Serenity, but not now, I don't want to make her sick. My son is out catching up with friends, so I think I'll finally watch Enchanted, I never did find time for that on the cruise.

But I want you to go with us. Cause if that's where their going, I will be on board

Oh, Good someone who will go with me.:thumbsup2

And I love the new pic in you siggie line.

It really might not still be there. It could all melt away.:(

Lets just hope they don't go there so I don't have to make that decision :faint:

I guess it is kinda like "it is better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all"

Yes it is. It will get easier when you get updates from her and she is doing well at home. I'm sure you will feel just as proud as her parents.

Oh, but you will go. How could you not go with Bubba, Me, Ken, Shannon, Susie, John and I know there will be others.

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: I think they will drag you there Gaylean, whether you like it or not!!!

::yes:: ::yes:: Kicking and screaming if necessary.
I know that's why I'm praying that they don't go there. Help me Marilyn, help me.

Resistance if Futile. :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Kaylee..wasn't that movie so good and sad. I cried through the whole thing too last week!

DD6 - chews her on the ends of her long-sleeve shirts - she does it when she's nervous or bored. She's gnawed holes in many of them, including her HSM one:furious: . I had to cut and hem the sleeves into short sleeves to save it. It drives me crazy:furious: . DD3 chews her fingernails and toenails! Tonight I put medical tape on all her fingers for a while. It was cheap tape and fell when she washed her hands, but she says she's gonna stop.

There doesn't seem to be an average age for having kids anymore. Shaelyn's classmates have mom's all over the age range. Some kids grandparents are the same age as other's parents.

I hope she stops because I know how frustrating it is. Ethan's first grade teacher told me that he was really oral. I just assumed it was an age thing. For him it was because he never did it in second grade. I have a friend and her daughter sucks on her hair. Yuck.

I know that there is a big difference in ages at the kids school. I just made this statement because everyone was making me feel like I was 12 when I had my kids. Most of the moms in the classes were around 30 so not too much older than me.

Leave me alone. I'm already getting it from Jon.

Ok, I'm still trying to catch up but keep clicking on posts so best to post!

Quentin and I married "young" - I was 23, he was 24. He was finishing up his undergrad at that time, and I was getting my first job as a nurse. I worked at three different hospitals to help pay for his law school and it was GO- GO-GO! After three years, we spent 6 months in Europe, starting off with a 14 day cruise in the Holy Land and ending up in England while he studied law at Oxford. All kidless. It was wonderful, lots of great memories. One day drinking beer with some Australians in Munich. Anyway, we never really thought much about it, never really had a "plan." And then, I turned 29 and it was just like that cartoon - "honey we forgot to have kids." So we talked about it and before we finished the conversation...

4 kids later, we are trying for 5 and I DIDN'T get pregnant on the cruise. Totally surprised but GUESS WHAT? I guess getting pregnant at 40 is not that easy. So I called the doctor and he said how long have you tried and I said one month. He laughed. He said just b/c you have been ms. fertile mertle doesn't mean you can have this happen in a month. So now I feel my clock ticking and hello I have 4 kids.
And then I think....I will be 45 when he (you know it will be a he - or multiple he's) will be 5. And that is IF I get pregnant in the next few months. I started to panic. But then - DIS comes to the rescue. Kelly - thank you for your post!!!!!
We can go to the early bird discount together while going through the college tours. And you know what? I think we will have MORE than enough energy to get through it and just MIGHT need to wake up Gayleen from her nap to go shopping for purses (Love the Hermes) with us!
Lisa

We didn't have a plan either. We went to Florida for a month and got pregnant while we were there! I do have a plan to not have anymore!
