We are in on this one as well. Really excited, can't imagine what 14 days on board will be like. Booked a cat 6A on the starboard side of deck 7-7630. This will be our 8th cruise but the first longer than 7 days. Have always wanted to do a Panama Canal cruise and using DVC points for this one ended up being a pretty good value. Really looking forward to getting to know everyone before and during the cruise.

Just thought I'd share this photo I took. It is some lighting tests for Cars Land. Looks awesome, right out of the movie.

No Panama Canal for us (:sad2:) - we're going to tour Italy w/dgs Jack (& stop in Athens to visit my family).

Hi, we booked this one on Thursday - only on hold for 3 minutes, which I found surprising.

It will be myself and DH on the cruise. Trying to persuade SIL and her husband to join us.

Burt and I are cruising Hawaii in October.

We're doing the October Hawaii one too. :)

We are booked and hopeful we won't have to cancel again.

Hi Marilyn, we were on the WBTA last September with you:wave:

Lots of familiar names from other PC and Hawaii. We booked the same room we have for Hawaii but we might change to deluxe ocean view.hope the medical problems I am now having don't force us to can el

Question for previous PC cruisers....how many kids are usually on the cruise? Anyone else here traveling with their kids? Ok that was 2 questions....just curious. Thanks!

Given that this cruise is in early May I would hazard a guess that there will be a lot less kids. We're leaving our son home - we will be a senior and just can't miss that much school.

Our last PC cruise I think there were less than 100 kids on board and most of them were home schooled. Since there were so few kids they opened up the kids centers at night for the adults. It was a lot of fun. We made slime and had a great time.

Thanks, this is how it was on our EBTA last May and my DS loved the empty clubs. The adults got to make flubbed it was so much fun.

Hello! Sounds like most of y'all know each other already. We just booked WBPC on Friday. We were planning on Alaska this year but wanted to move that booking, and I knew the new itineraries would be out soon, but was distracted by having a baby 2 weeks ago.

I woke up to feed the baby Thursday night and thought, "Oh yeah, better check on the cruise..." and found that Opening Day had already happened! I emailed the TA to move us to Alaska 2013. In the morning, I told DH about the new itineraries and he suggested PC instead. Wow!

We got a 10C, because with 2 small kids, the extra square footage is nice. We were even able to get an adjoining room with Grandma. I'm a bit worried about the noise in that part of the ship, but it seems like there is some kind of noise everywhere.

Be back later with questions for those who have done PC before....

Congratulations on the new baby! :flower3:

We also booked a 10C. I read the room reports and all the 10Cs on the second level had me really worried . But when I read the reviews of the ones on the first level they were all really good, so we booked down there.

Hello everyone! :wave2:

We're not sure if we're going on this cruise or not. Originally we booked on the Fantasy for March 23rd next year. But then we started talking about Alaska. When the new itineraries came out we were shocked at the Alaska prices. But the EBTA was a steal! So we booked that. But then we looked into what the airfare might run and were a bit taken aback. So then we looked at the WBPC. The prices were a shocker, but the airfare would be so much more doable. When we did cost breakdowns of all three cruise, the Eastern ended up being the most expensive on a nightly basis and the PC the least expensive. And we wouldn't have to fly over the Atlantic, something that I find scary.

Anyway, I think we're leaning toward this sailing, though we won't be canceling any of them for a few months while we really look into every aspect of them.

You all seem like a pretty happy, tight group. I hope you have room for us! :flower3:

It'll be me (Kirsten), my husband and our twin girls. DH and I will be 43 and 44 ( :scared1: ) and our girls will be 8. We've only been on one previous cruise (last year on DCL to the MR) and we're going on our next cruise in four weeks, also DCL on the MR. We don't consider ourselves to be Disney people, but we are finding that we really are DCL people, so I guess we're becoming Disney people :lmao:.

I started a thread asking for copies of previous navigators. But I'll reask it here with the experts!

We are trying to decide between the WBPC and the EBTA, both are May of next year. I can find lots of info on the TA sailings, but hardly any on the Panama Canal crossings.

What I'd really like to see are some daily navigators for the sailings. I've found a few trip reports, but none with the navigators

And if anyone has any links to trip reports from previous crossings, I'd love to read more!

Thank you!
